Huh? There’s a Doris reffing Wednesday?? Didn’t know that, might have to watch to see how well the players behave now… pity John Terry isn’t around… 🙂13th August 2019 at 9:34 am #45181
Chelsea are going to get slammed. Wish i hadnt paid 120 Euros for the pleasure but follow land and sea. No finger nails left ahead of the game. Beer, Kebab, football… albeit at a silly price. Anyhow… Enjoy the game if youve made the journey.13th August 2019 at 10:01 am #45183
Sain, is definitely one of the best lineswoman on the circuit at the moment. Personally, if females want to take an interest in the Sport, I’d say go for it.
I did get into the latter parts of the Women’s World Cup and found the matches refreshing.
Not sure though from a punditry point of view, whether I could muster more observations and analysis hahaha 🙂13th August 2019 at 10:24 am #45184
Good on yer 442 nothing better than over land and sea Chelsea fans. Hope you can enoy it. .And the Kebabs. 🙂13th August 2019 at 10:25 am #45185

Very tough game13th August 2019 at 10:58 am #45186
Fabinho, Van Dijk, Wijnaldum, Milner, Keita, Firmino, Mane, Salah, Gomez, Adrian, Henderson, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Lallana, Lonergan, Shaqiri, Brewster, Robertson, Origi, Matip, Hoever, Kelleher, Alexander-Arnold, Elliott.
No Lovren as it looks like he is off to Roma. Interesting if Hoever, Brewster or Elliott get any game time.13th August 2019 at 12:28 pm #45203

“Cant believe there is a female ref and linesmen…I mean lineswomen!
Its all wrong. Its a blokes game lets keep it for blokes”
What an idiotic thing to say. Thought we’d left your sort back in the past. Doesn’t surprise me however going off your previous posts.13th August 2019 at 12:34 pm #45204
Interesting the little mini-debate about girly refs and lino’s…
On one hand, why not? At the end of the day, as long as whoever is doing is competent then it doesn’t really matter…
One the other hand, if the Women’s World Cup was all female (with not a male in site) and the men was all men’s, why crossover?? What is there to gain from deliberately doing this, unless the ref’s in turn happen to be the best in the world, and not at all gender based? (Which I doubt!).
Not quite the same thing but I remember all the hullabaloo when a woman golfer entered on the men’s tour (and subsequently tanked!), certain male golfers were suggesting it’s only fair if the men were allowed to play on the girly tour, which obviously never happened.13th August 2019 at 1:45 pm #45210
Not an unlikely move by UEFA alongside playing major European Finals in outposts like Baku. They like pushing the boundaries under this particular President.
I’m not against it and Sian Massey – Ellis has been a very good linesperson in the PL I just hope the players on Wednesday night are respectful of the officials although that shouldn’t make any difference as to whether they are male or female.13th August 2019 at 1:53 pm #45211
For me, the levels of “dissent” is the most curious thing about the match… I wonder if we see a few more bookings than usual for the “gobshite” footballers are renowned for!13th August 2019 at 2:29 pm #45212
Thank you Tugay!
Personal opinion. Too much political correctness for me.
Back to the match. Think Chelsea will be up for it after Sunday. They dont look half as dangerous without Hazard (obvious!). Could easily go either way.13th August 2019 at 2:37 pm #45214
To be fair to Adlab it is unusual to have 3 female officials for a big game like this I can’t think where it’s happened previously but Stephanie Frappart is meant to be a very good Referee and Sian Massey- Ellis as we all know is a very good linesperson.13th August 2019 at 3:32 pm #45219
After Frank’s pre match press conference Willian probably on the bench , Rudiger probably not quite ready for that, Kante picked up another slight injury on Sunday likely at best to br on the bench but they’re talking tonight?13th August 2019 at 4:08 pm #45221
The game is on Wednesday right?13th August 2019 at 5:21 pm #45222
Billy Gilmour aged just 18 in the Chelsea Super Cup squad great potential and a wonderful experience for the lad.
