Ye i know of the new vice chairman . I wonder what Qpr fans make of him.
The facebook co-founder and his wife are worth billions. Hopefully they build the club through success on the pitch and not by raising ticket prices, amazon naming rights or any of that bollix.

15th August 2026 at 7:46 am #253058Midfield is concerning. To soft in there. Look at city. Anderson and rodri. Chelsea cacadio and ferndes. Aresnal guimares snd rice. All these lads can tackle , press and are up for a battle. They can all use the ball aswell. We have no one like this in midfield except endo who wont be considered.

15th August 2026 at 8:45 am #253060Don’t think you can count on Rodri.
I think we have a great midfield, just missing a ”fabinho” – i.e. upgrade on Endo.
With ”Fabinho”, wirtz, Grav, Dom, MacA, Nyoni, Jones (or replacement), Elliott (or replacement) – we’re pretty stacked. We’re much thinner defensively and on the wings in my opinion.

But we don’t have a Fabinho type.

15th August 2026 at 11:07 am #253065Nothing happening on the transfer front for Liverpool currently, despite the endless hot air in the press.
But when it happens, all hell will break loose.

You see the thing is, with the amount of work that needs to be done and with just over 2 weeks left of the transfer window and the league starting next weekend, we are waiting on the “when” to arrive and are concerned that it never does.
I was told 5/6 weeks ago when I raised these same concerns that the “when” will happen within a coupla weeks.
Since then we’ve signed 1 player on loan._____________________________

15th August 2026 at 11:34 am #253067Ye its very concerning ginger. Its the weakest squad out of the top 5 atm
We have a manager who hascnever had to play 3 games a week and never managed in tye cl. He needs support. We dont have a squad to compete atm.
Next sunday we have our first game and we are so short. Frimpong, vvd, isak or any wide player gets injured we ate fooked

15th August 2026 at 12:26 pm #253071PSG bought Torres for ÂŁ43m, Akliouche for the same amount ÂŁ43m, and Godts will cost ÂŁ47m.
Time for Hughes to show he has the guts to NOT be exploited by PSG, unlike the debacle with Newcastle when he massively overpaid for Isak.
Barcola, is nothing special (yet), he’s not even a regular starter for PSG, and isn’t even better than Torres, for example, who has 25 compared to Barcola with just 6 goals.
If PSG think they can exploit the mighty Liverpool FC, time for Hughes to look elsewhere, and maybe he already is doing that.

Stop worrying about nothing.
Is the transfer window closed yet? Do you, or any fan (including myself) know what Hughes is actually up to, who his targets are, or even which deals could be nearing completion?
And crucially, who really knows what Iraola’s transfer targets are, because they could be completely different to what us Liverpool fans want.
To me, I will only judge Liverpool’s transfer business, when the transfer window is closed. And I’ve got the patience of a saint.
Let the deals roll in.

International goals is what I meant.

Is it nothing though?
The squad is very thin and lacking quality in depth.
We have a number of promising but inexperienced young players we’re gonna have to rely upon.
We have no proper RB
We have no proper wide right attacker.
We have no actual back up to Isak.
We have a significant home grown issue.
The first game of the season is in 8 days.
We have significant work to do in the transfer window which closes in just over 2 weeks.
I think there very much is things to be concerned about.

15th August 2026 at 1:35 pm #253077We only have a home grown issue if we sell Jones and if he leaves we are likely to add McConnell to the squad.
I don´t find it very surprising to see us acting late in the window after a 1.65 billion deal went through.

McConnell is halfway out the door to Preston North End.

15th August 2026 at 10:19 pm #253131Not unless both players will leave the club, we would not let McConnell leave if we sell Jones. It´s easy as that.

15th August 2026 at 11:35 pm #253134it´s pretty easy to find out who can be registered and who can not, you have not even thought about a player like Nyoni getting registered, we got some options available. We got a total of 10 options or more…So maybe you should do some research before responding mate.
