One to watch is Rc Lens Mamadou Sangaré.

Mamadou Sangaré looks interesting, if Liverpool are indeed after him.

As a defensive midfielder, he’s won possession more times (194) than any other player in Ligue 1 this season. And he’s starring for Lens, who are only 3 points behind PSG in Ligue 1, as he’s their 3rd highest rated player (Whoscored).

Plus he’s only been injured twice in the last two seasons, missing only 6 games, unlike some of our recent signings. He picks up a few red cards, though.

Lamine Camara of Monaco, is also apparently under consideration.

It has everything to do with the coaching and Slot.

No it doesn’t, you’re wrong again, as usual. If you can’t make a simple pass, that’s all on you as a player, anyone can see that, even the pundits on TV have pointed this out.

Making a simple short-term pass is the absolute minimum required of a professional football player,
especially a player at the highest level in the Premier League.

Mac Allister, Gravenberch and Wirtz, not being able to make a simple pass, and consistently giving the ball away, has got absolutely nothing to do with Slot – just look at how pissed off he gets with them, when they keep making this same mistake.

Bullshit Song. They could make passes last season under Slot. What’s the difference this?

I’ll tell you what it is.

We’re seeing the real Arne Slot now.

United couldn’t string two passes together under Amorim and were shit. In comes Carrick and now they not only stringing more than 2 passes together they’re winning games and will get third.

                Tottenham. Zerbi. Methodology.

                Environment. Training methods. Psychology. Leadershp.

Every dept. we are lacking in.

Never had such rubbish from you Rob, the only one who’s talking utter bullshit is you.

So basically a player can’t make a simple pass, even it’s just a short, few metres pass, and it’s Slot’s fault?

We are not talking about spectacular passes here, just a simple pass, and that is down to the player, and the player ALONE.

You can blame Slot for tactics, sure, but no way can you blame him for highly talented players not being able to do the basics right.

So why exactly have seasoned pundits, who are former top players, highlighted this specific problem with passing, and BLAMED THE PLAYERS, live on TV, several times already? They know exactly what they’re talking about, unlike yourself

As for how they played last season, players can lose form or fovus – they simply need to get their act together going forward.

Slot is the problem. Hes lost everything that klopp built.

Because the players are the easiest ones to blame. Pundits have ALSO questioned Slot’s methodology and decision making.

Song, read this shit slowly and let it sink in.

Arne Slot on if he told the players to back off after the first goal:

“Yeah that’s what I told them to do. We scored the 1-0 and then almost the 2-0. Didn’t you see me screaming at the sidelines ‘Go back! Go back! Defend your own box!’ Are you really thinking this is serious? Of course this is not the idea to back off, we wanted to keep going but we played a team that got more and more comfortable on the ball. They controlled the midfield and played through us more and more. It was difficult to change that during the first half but I think in the second half we changed things… we were much more able to press them. It helped us be the most dominant team in the second half… I think it’s not fair to me for people to think I tell my players that I tell them to back off and not to press! Maybe you haven’t seen my teams play last season and large parts of this season. But it did look like this but it was never the intention!”

Sean, so when I said that Ekitike was better than Isak, and that we should not buy Isak because he was double the price of Gyökeres, and injury-prone, it was bollocks? Despite “most over here” disagreeing vehemently.

Or when I tipped Rio, long before the season, to be a star this season, was this bollocks also?

Tell me, how did these predictions turn out then?

Problem is, you are a hysterical loser who can’t think for himself, and keeps jumping on empty bandwagons.

And do I honestly give a fuck what others on here think really, when they’re wrong most of the time?

I’m just going to keep it coming, and say it as I see it.

Rob, Slot is his own worst enemy sometimes due to his convoluted, confusing communication style.

And this is something that he could improve on, or just shut up and say less.

No truer word has been said, especially when describing those with football knowledge so poor they’d probably lose an argument with Michael Owen.

Worst thing is, these dim witted people think they know the most, and anyone who disagrees is either stupid or a liar.

I do blame the players, I don´t like how disconnected they have become from the fanbase, Szoboszlai trying to tell the fans off, Gravy not understanding the boos. Van Dijk thinking it´s alright they go on holiday every week now on private planes.

The only true leader we have seen this season is Salah, who has spoken out about the standards at the club or rather the lack of standards around the club.

All this starts with the head coach who sets the standards, it´s no wonder the players think it´s alright that they go jetting all over Europe instead of working on being extra ready when the gaffer himself jets off at every possible opportunity.

He is supposed to set the standard and we have too many players from the old guard that demand more. We need him gone in the summer, we are likely to have to beat Brentford in our last game and right now I am afraid we will draw the game.

songman has mentioned the bad Klopp season, that season we did not invest and were relying on Nat Philips and Rhys Willams to bail us out, the club and fans actually had a belief that would happen. We clutched up that season when needed somehow. Every season under Klopp the fans understood the problem and we could see efforts made to combat those problems.

Every fan knew what to expect every season under Klopp, Klopp got everyone behind the team when the team needed it the most. During his tenure I did not doubt one decision the man made, like all of us could predict every team he put out, the same industrial midfield, the same defense, the same attack. Everyone on the forum stopped questioning his decisions as they all proved out to be the right decisions.

This time around it´s actually hard to find a lineup that makes sense, its hard finding a sub that makes sense.

Bradley Barcola is a fringe player at PSG, if Liverpool are interested in him, and he’s interested in Liverpool, he’d play every week.

Excellent stats, and rarely injured, he even played a staggering 64 games last season.

If, and it’s a BIG IF, we can get both Barcola and Diaomande, with Rio as an excellent backup, I can tell you right here, right now, good things will happen at Liverpool next season – though to fund these deals, we’d need to sell Gakpo first, though.

Isak – 4 goals, 1 assist in 21 games (frequently injured) Cost £125m

Gyökeres – 21 goals, 3 assists in 52 games (never injured) Cost £64m

Going forward, say over the next 3 seasons, I still expect Gyökeres to either outscore Isak, or at least score a similar amount to him.

So why the fck did we pay £61m EXTRA for Isak???
