3rd June 2026 at 1:16 pm #248001One for the future, possibly the next Rio, especially as Iraola like s giving young players a chance.

3rd June 2026 at 1:27 pm #248005” if this was a legal case, you would definitely have lost.”
Eh what? Do you even know yourself what you are talking about?
“The only simple thing, you simpleton, is your utter lack of football knowledge, ”
Maybe I am lacking in football knowledge, I don’t think so judging by the way others engage with me on here, but I still know far more than you. Look how many on here think you’re a moron or question the utter crap you write..

3rd June 2026 at 2:00 pm #248007Would probably give the benefit of the doubt with our summer signings from last Summer. Frimpong is a question mark for me still for what he was bought as an where he was placed position-wise under Slot.
Hoping naturally for Iraola to get the better out of these guys in Wirtz, Isak and Ekitike.
Presumably, Hughes and Edwards will have a heavy input on Transfer, but I’m sure Iraola’s and his coaching Team’s input will be welcomed.
Just seen today from our Rivals Rasmus joining Napoli on a permanent deal following a successful loan campaign for practically half the price United signed him for from Atlanta back in 2023.
I mean that would be the last resort you would think if Iraola can’t get a tune out of Wirtz and Isak in example. We might have to accept as flops and be prepared to take a hit, but let’s hope it doesn’t come to that and generally when it comes to us selling, our track record suggests we’ve been profitable.

3rd June 2026 at 2:22 pm #248010Out of interest do you deliberately model yourself on him?
Your losing attitude, and lack of stand on anything clearly reminds me of Keir Starmer

Being a RBL player he won’t be shy of training hard, their whole ethos is heavy metal football.
But he will cost a lot, then be interesting to see what if anything happens with Barcola. Plus RB, maybe CB, hopefully DM…
The Ukrainian CB guy might be a loan due to political “unrest” with his Russian goalie! So it could be just a loan and I guess no obligation to buy.

3rd June 2026 at 8:34 pm #248024Agree with you songman re MacA. And then extend Dom at the same time.
I get it is difficult. But it sure gets worse the longer you wait. And the combined transfer fees weβre getting from first XI players is a joke. Complete under performance by the sport director(s)._____________________________

3rd June 2026 at 10:08 pm #248026Richard Hughes is going to be on it like a Bonnet for Iraola and bring him new faces. Would love Jarrod Bowen first up and would be my new fan favourite (vacancy needs filling!!) π

3rd June 2026 at 11:32 pm #248027Extend Dom and give him a new wardrobe. Did you see what he was wearing earlier this week? Trent school of looking like a ball and bat dressed for Madrid.

4th June 2026 at 7:07 am #248029With Nunez expected to be a free agent at the end of June would anyone take him back as striker cover, keeping in mind Ekitike’s injury?
Barcelona and Dortumnd and also interested so it wouldn’t be a given he’d except us, probably depends on the squad status he’s given.

4th June 2026 at 7:12 am #248030Love the charachter, but would hate if we had to rely on him week in and week out. Hughes needs to sort something better out.

4th June 2026 at 8:50 am #248032I don’t think relying on him week in week out would be considered.
What would you do mac?

4th June 2026 at 9:00 am #248035The main reasons why Nunez was moved on was (to put it in its simplest terms) his composure and game intelligence.
I don’t know if that’s changed but I somehow doubt it.
I like this kind of idea though for solving some of our squad issues.
Bringing in freebies/alternatives who may have not cut it quite right elsewhere._____________________________

4th June 2026 at 12:27 pm #248046It all depends on what Darwin is looking for on the wages front. The sensible view is that he only actually ever had one good season (typically the one before we bought him!) But that said, he’s only 26, energetic and he brings an unpredictability that could be useful if Iraola sets the team up as we hope he will. I could think of worse squad players coming off the bench after 60 minutes.

4th June 2026 at 1:33 pm #248049Would love it if he came back⦠one of the problems i had with slot was destroying nunezs confidence. But when he was playing, it opened up for space for our attackers. Once he was dropped salahs form also dropped. He had 28 goal contributions in his second season and then he went through a phase if hitting the woodworks for the following season⦠that can really effect your confidence!

4th June 2026 at 1:43 pm #248051Just seen videos of kennet eichorn, looks a talent, strapping lad and can play the midfield/defensive midfield role in a season or 2. Reminds me of Bajcetic when he hit the scene⦠does anybody know anything about where hes at? Or do you think we are either gonna loan him out or sell him? Cus he has the potential to stepup when it comes to talent and size!

4th June 2026 at 1:48 pm #248052We cannot sign Eichhorn until he turns 18 in July 2027. All the reports about buying and loaning him are wrong. Best we can is a verbal agreement to sign him and he stays at Hertha for the season.
