I donยดt wanna sound pedantic but you have never made a contribution to the forum except in hindsight. How can we respect you when you take a week to make every response you make? Iยดm curious BTW! Cause you are not a bad guy but you always take a week to respond to any post made?

3rd June 2026 at 9:12 am #247960There’s been a lot of talk about who might come in but what about those that might leave? And I’m not talking about the obvious ones like Chiesa and Endo.
Both Szoboszlai and MacAllister have only two years left on their contracts and if they leave at the end they will still have plenty of prime years ahead of them. I expect the club would be ok if MacAllister left, but has his poor season put buyers off? Szoboszlai would be unthinkable to sell, but if he doesn’t sign an extension then next summer his value plummets and in two years we lose for free.
It’s seems Real’s MO is to encourage players to see out their contract and move to them for free. Winger recently touched on it that Real will start the process around the two year mark.
Link to an “ITK” but one that has a questionable reputation, but in this case I think he makes some good points.

3rd June 2026 at 10:24 am #247965MacA only has a year left and he could very well sit tight and see it out to go to Madrid, as ive said previously.
I wouldn’t be opposed to selling him this summer at all, as long as we invested appropriately.
I struggle to see him in Iraolas intense, pressing, loads of running midfield.
He struggled this past season with low intensity.Szobo is different.
We need to sign him up ASAP.
I think he could go up another level or 2 playing this new style.
But have Madrid been in his ear??I wouldn’t be selling Jones either, depending on what he’s asking for.
The squad is too light as it is with too much business to be done._____________________________

3rd June 2026 at 10:48 am #247966Macallister is also 2028.
https://www.transfermarkt.com/alexis-mac-allister/profil/spieler/534033
You don’t need every midfielder to press but I agree Macallister won’t suit Iraola. He’s more of a tempo setter by receiving and producing short passes. For fast transitions you want someone with a longer range and more risky type of passing like Wharton even if his pressing isn’t the greatest.
I can see the midfield as one playmaker sitter, a runner that presses, and one chance creator. Wharton, Szoboszlai and Wirtz. Don’t forget Wirtz is actually a very good presser too.
Gravenberch? Not sure what his role will be. Did well sitting but seems to want to play further up the pitch but isn’t good enough in my opinion.
Jones? Would keep as a squad member if he accepts that role.
But Szoboszlai’s contract now is very important, and it’s something we’ve struggled a lot with recently.

3rd June 2026 at 10:56 am #247967Good man Threeps.
Could have sworn it was only a year left.
Still fairly happy to sell him.
But need Szobo tied down ASAP.Iraola also likes direct ball carriers which is where I could see Gravenberch coming into play.
There’s few id sell this summer due to the amount of players we’re short.
We need to build a squad this summer.MacA
Chiesa
Endo

3rd June 2026 at 12:12 pm #247974Josh Abe, tied down by Liverpool to a new contract, the next Rio Ngumoha?
That’s why Slot called him up to train with the first team, and he’ll now be part of USA tour.
Hope he fulfils his potential, as soon as possible.
Take your chance lad, work your socks off, and don’t get big-headed.

3rd June 2026 at 12:19 pm #247977threeps, bless your sensitive soul.
I deal in facts and I get most of my bold predictions right, and that pisses off many posters over here. Now, if that bothers you, I suggest you get help, or just ignore my posts.

3rd June 2026 at 12:35 pm #247980“He guessed a few starting line ups correctly and told us so. I guess thatโs enough?”
Wow, threeps, wrong again as usual, why ignore my big calls?
Just one example, I was the only poster on this site (as far as I know) who said that Ekitike was a better striker than Isak AND more importantly was totally against us signing of Isak, long before we signed him – because of his stupily ridiculous price and him being highly injury-prone.
And almost everyone vehemently disagreed

3rd June 2026 at 12:43 pm #247983The world doesnโt exist in a binary.
The transfer market isnโt a supermarket.
Football is a business, and in business it is just plain madness to pay any price you’re quoted for a player (especially a highly injury-prone player), and to not walk away when the price is way too exorbitant.
If you can’t understand such a simple concept, I’ll leave it at that.

3rd June 2026 at 12:49 pm #247984@notorious its not that isaks shit striker, or van persie at arsenalโฆ its the fact hes been injured the whole season! At this moment of time i dont care if he scored a 100 goals at Newcastleโฆ all i care about whats he doing at Liverpool!!
Spot on, asiansensation, the only thing that matters is what Isak can do now for Liverpool now.
Did you see Isak’s outstanding goal this week for Sweden? On his day, Isak can be sublime, but the he’s injured far too frequently, and that’s one of the reasons he’s never scored more than 27 goals in a season.
He’s missed 67 games injured in the PL over 4 seasons, and that means he never really builds momentum to play for a long period of time.

3rd June 2026 at 12:54 pm #247987Would hate to see any of Dom and MacA leave on the cheap or for free. Worth 200 combined. Would continue the complete mismanagement around contracts.

3rd June 2026 at 12:55 pm #247988Correction, I forgot to add the price, as I would only have paid about ยฃ60m for him, or No Deal.
“AND more importantly was totally against us signing of Isak for ยฃ125m, long before we signed him”

3rd June 2026 at 12:57 pm #247990Macattack, we need to replace Mac Allister, he’s been a good servant to Liverpool, and helped us win the league.
But he’s too slow, and worst of all, gives away the ball too often. I’d sell him, and for a very good price if we can get it.
And replace him with the likes of Sangarรฉ, Wharton or Camara.

3rd June 2026 at 12:57 pm #247991Songman, what you say about Isak or Ekitike are not facts, they are opinions. Writing FACT in big mean looking letters doesn’t change that.
You do seem a simple sort of person so maybe it’s too much to understand?
For the record I questioned at the time the signing of Isak due to the intensity I wanted to see from the team. You kept blabbering on about his ego or something equally as nonsensical. Difference was I didn’t need to remind everyone every single day that I expressed that opinion, because I’m not insecure like you.
Opinion, not FACT, Isak is a better player than Ekitike. I’m guessing that opinion would be agreed by most.

3rd June 2026 at 12:59 pm #247993Problem is Macattack that it difficult to force players to sign a contract or force them out of club.
You also dont want to be blowing your wage bill outta proportion.

3rd June 2026 at 1:04 pm #247995Ekitike isn’t a better striker than Isak (yet). Too many raw edges with Ekitike to make him better. Still developing.

3rd June 2026 at 1:06 pm #247996threeps, are you so childish, insecure and delusional to deny that I got the big call on Ekitike and Isak right, despite the proof being here right on this site – if this was a legal case, you would definitely have lost.
Ekitike is a far better striker than Isak, let’s look at the stats for this season for a start.
“You do seem a simple sort of person so maybe itโs too much to understand?”
The only simple thing, you simpleton, is your utter lack of football knowledge, and hyper insecurity and sensitivity, when another poster gets something 100% right.
As I said earlier, keep on losing, and providing comedy fodder for this site.

Wrong, you twerp, ignoring my main point about Isak again, the issue I’ve been going on about Isak is his exorbitant price of ยฃ125m and his poor injury record – stick to the point, stop shying away from the real issue.
