He’s strong though Threeps and I worry we’re don’t have enough of these type of players in the side, particularly when, imo, we’re quite soft in the middle. We still lose the ball too easily up top for me. We conceded 41 goals in the league last season. One too many for me even if we did win the league. I worry we’re adding some nice technical players up top but not enough physicality.

Luis Díaz is going nowhere this summer.
Unless, of course, the price is too tempting, he is in favour of the move, and we have a ready made similar-quality replacement for him, being the best left-winger in the league. And it’s going to be very difficult for all these circumstances to align.

If the rumours are to be believed then Cherki was our plan B for the no 10 and I’d personally prefer Eze over him. Eze is a good player, whilst I’m not sold on Cherki and think he will flop for City. But we trumped all of those with Wirtz who was probably the most sought after no 10 in the game currently.
Olise was the one to snap up from Palace, he had a superb season at Bayern, and plays RW mostly.

Not gonna lie, but honestly would love Eze. We’ve been sort of alternating between Diaz and Gakpo and that’s worked well as the guys have shown first class attitude and synergy.
The only thing is whether there would be room for one more in Left Wing. I’m Happy with it being another option and another string added to the bow. These players can be adapted to striking positions though the only obvious thought from this is that they are not outright Centre Forwards.

Need Darwin GONE. Nothing would delight me more than a straight swap for Osimhen.

Cherki is a flair player, Pep doesn’t work well with those he likes robots. See Grealish as an example. Think he will flop bad.
Eze is a good player but I don’t understand why anyone would want us to have him given the players will already have. Its overbloating a postion and would be a waste of money. If Wirtz didn’t happen then sure. If Gakpo or Diaz go I’d rather get a LW, likewise if our strikers go get a striker. Don’t shoe horn players in.

Anyone else see a world where Konate doesn’t sign but stays and plays, goes for free in a year and likewise Guehi stays and comes to us for free in a year? Risky admittedly, but Guehi is very keen to join us and assurances could be made.
Would need a CB this year aswell, probably a youngster like Hato and/or Alt Boudal.

Can fully understand if people don’t want to talk about football yet, it’s a very sensitive time and we can all make our own choices. I am one that will get back to normal with the attitude the world doesn’t stop. If that upsets anyone I am sorry but you don’t have to read what I am saying.
With that said i will contiune. Rumour here in Germany coming from Bild is that Diaz has signalled his willingness to move to Bayern. The German club who were already looking for a LW, have just lost Musiala to a big injury and will be desperate to add some attacking flair. Despite ljverpool regetting any approach for Diaz the talk of him leaving is not going away.

Barca links are a little odd. Williams was clearly their no 1 choice but he would only join if the concerns over registration were mitigated. They weren’t so he didn’t, signed a new deal at Bilbao.
But surely the same registration concerns would be felt by Diaz too? Why take such a risk with your career?
Bayern have lost Musiala for a while so will need some additional attacking flair and to give their fans some cheer. They are still upset about losing Wirtz!
Although we have said he’s not for sale I think if someone offers 80m or so I think he’ll go and I think it will be to Bayern.
Then it’s Fofana to replace. Or Gordon, but I’m not convinced myself.

Bayern seems like a likely destination now for Diaz. The Club is probably waiitng for a firm bid, transfer request and to line up a replacement. I really like Gordon but think he is likely to be a simialr sale price to Diaz. We also still need a striker and a Centre Back.
