Arsenal have reached an agreement with Lille to sign Ivory Coast winger Nicolas Pepe for ~€80m, paid by instalments to fit #AFC budget. 5yr deal, agent agreement still needed but set to be closed in next 24/48hrs. Napoli also have agreement with #LOSC but agent rejected proposal

Nine, Y’day, 7:25, just seen your reply mate. This particular thread automatically diverts itself on the first page – was real busy and completely forgot about my own reply.

I think mate, for the first time in my lifetime, a point where this market as far as mixing it with the ‘Big Boys’ go is stagnated.

Being a bit of a cynic light-hearted, I wonder if European Clubs just wont sell to us because of the level of threat we are delivering in the Champions League?

I’m confident in my mind that the Landscape is changing 🙂

Mav, sorry for the late reply. Hope you’re good mate.

Mav, you don’t have to completely build from scratch. If United use experienced players to integrate and nurture the younger ones, then given time, something can be built from scratch.

I’d say Solskjaer at the very least deserves a clean slate to implement his own ideas and stamp his authority.

Tba, there are usually two kits for sale one is a replica kit which is the cheaper one (£111 ?) and the other much more expensive one is the actual kit worn by the players with all of the various features built in super lightweight etc,etc.

Nil, not sure about that mate.

Generally I think the transfer market is short of quality and the prices being quoted are too high Longstaff at £50m after a handful of games for Newcastle.

Clubs either have to accept that and pay for instance the £80m Maguire fee Leicester are demanding or look elsewhere for maybe lesser players.

999 , firstly thanks for asking,I go into hospital on 7th August for reconstructive surgery on my ankle/foot, not pleasant but if it reduces my pain and gets me off Morphine it will be worth it. The down side is 12 months recuperation which means I will have loads of time flat on my back and on here all day !!!

Nil-Actually mate,there are tons of players that nobody wants and their current clubs are desperate to get rid off,the likes of Bale,wee Phil & a few more @ Barca,Icardi & more than half of Inter Milan squad,Ozil,Sanchez,Lukaku,Higuain-your team maybe just doesnt want any of them.There are loads more out there,I just cant mention all of em mate.
