Sancho looks a good signing to me and United have chased him for a while now.
I’ve not seen anything of Daka he’s an interesting signing he’s scored lot’s goals in the Austrian League if he can translate that to the PL he will be an excellent signing for Leicester especially for that fee. One to watch out for.

In all seriousness Ed, I do like the way utd are building the team and even if just for next season a front four of Bruno,sancho, rashford and cavani will cause problems for any team.
Of course the team will need to be balanced better so I don’t think utd are done in the market this summer. If you don’t get a centre back you do need a top class anchor for that midfield at least

Reports this morning suggest that Levy has promised Nuno that Kane won’t be sold this season without they receive a bid of circa £150m predictable from Levy if the reports are true.
Spurs are a much better team with Kane in it providing he settles down and accepts that.
Allegedly according to Kane he had a verbal agreement with Levy last Summer that if Spurs didn’t win a trophy last season Levy would let him go this Summer.
I guess Levy will hide behind the fact that he will have kept his word if someone is prepared to meet his valuation although it’s very unlikely it will be met and Kane’s problem is that he didn’t get it writing from Levy with a sensible transfer fee agreed and confirmed in writing and the fact that Kane signed a six-year contract in 2018 committing him to the club until 2024 and being contracted to Spurs for another three seasons, significantly weakens Kane’s negotiating position.
But then again holding a player against his will often leaves a Coach trying to get the best out of an unhappy and unmotivated player???

Yeah it’s a weird one. Nobody is paying £150mil for Kane. Impossible. I think City are the only ones who would go as high as £100mil for him but I doubt they’d go much higher than that.

ED..you are right, nobody will pay for that much for Kane. Contracts are not worth the paper they are written on and this prooves a point. No matter if he stays in a place he does not want to be and Spurs pay every week his salary and possibly a deteriorating performance and fitness issues. I think City will look elsewhere, just not worth the real risk

Very weird Ed as Lucky says why did Kane say what he did in the interview with Neville if he just had a gentleman’s agreement with Levy who every one knows is more than shifty?
What if Kane tells Nuno he doesn’t want to play for him or Spurs contacts are legally binding but if a player wants out it will get very messy and Nuno doesn’t need that at the start of his tenure.
I can’t see Kane changing his mind and I can’t see City paying £100m let alone Levy’s alleged £150m.

Indeed Nine. According to Fabrizio Romano, City have already offered £100mil though and it’s been refused so it’s a case of deciding the next steps. I don’t think City will just give up now, but nor do I think they’ll go as high as £150mil. A total fee of around £120mil might suit all parties. Whether they can make it up with players is difficult, as you’ve noted before Nine (as the players themselves have to want to go to Spurs also). Personally, if I was Levy, I’d try to get Laporte in to make up the difference. He’s wasted on City’s bench.
Really tough one to call. Like you say, crazy that Kane went so public about it, which means his legacy at Spurs is tainted whatever happens from now. If he does stay, everyone will know he doesn’t really want to be there.

As CB prices go, I would put Laporte at 50/55 million but the price for Kane would have to come down, for reasons already mentioned by many. Total outlay no more than 50 million and I still would not be happy with that because i do not want to loose Laporte either but I also think his mind is on leaving. No good keeping players who want to move on. levy, will keep hanging on as long as possible and the deadline will come and go, nothing resolved. Just hope City have somebody else in mind
