Happy with the Spud line-up, with the available players that’s just about our strongest 11 (if I was in charge!).16th December 2017 at 5:44 pm #9003
Very subdued start…..16th December 2017 at 5:45 pm #9004

We may regret the missed chances?16th December 2017 at 6:29 pm #9008
Spurs were lucky to get away with one for the penalty it’s was a definite push in the back by Rose but the Refs vision was blocked.
But Spurs still in it at 1 nil.16th December 2017 at 6:32 pm #9009
Well, sure certain cyber monkeys on here would disagree, but that was a real shitty half of football.16th December 2017 at 7:00 pm #9011
Lovely goal from De Bruyne.16th December 2017 at 7:28 pm #9013AdlabParticipant297 pts
It could have been six or seven. What a top performance from KDB.16th December 2017 at 9:02 pm #9020
Adlab, you’re right it could have been 5 or 6 and against a team that finished 2nd and 3rd in the last two seasons and City were without their best player in Silva as well.
And if City were to sign Sanchez and Van Dijk in January too……….?????

apart from KDB who is on another planet, thought Mangala,Gungdogan and Delph had good games. Augerr off pace a little but no denying his sffort. Fernandinho with KDB took charge of the game. Well played City and a noticable lift in the choirs performance16th December 2017 at 9:48 pm #9027Chelsea.manParticipant140 pts
Deeney was sent off today from a foul that was less harmful than that of Kane and Alli. Incredible and some Spurs fans will always claim to be victims.?

Just got in, what a day!! Haven’t seen it back but how did Delli stay on the field? Horrific challenge. Looked really really bad. We owned Spuds, I said the other day that if we get past spuds our next 5 are very winnable so it’s gonna be interesting to see how the next 5 pan out.
I’m still keeping grounded, Long ass way to go still.16th December 2017 at 11:01 pm #9034Big JimSpectator183 pts
What a day, thought we played some fantastic football. KDB was superb as was Gundogwan. Correction KDB was on another level altogether. Just watched MOTD. Alli and Kane both very fortunate to stay on the pitch. But hey ho luckily we didn’t pick up bad injuries. Spurs had some chances but essentially we blew them away. Final point, how good is Ederson??! I don’t think I have ever seen a keeper so cool on the ball and his distribution is simply amazing. This team just gets better and better.16th December 2017 at 11:01 pm #9035
Just seen Kane’s ridiculous foul as well, another stone wall red joke of a ref
Just to be clear, fellow blues remember the semi against arse last year? The one where the ref allowed silva to be kicked to shit? Then he went off injured? Same ref, really really poor ref this one16th December 2017 at 11:08 pm #9036Big JimSpectator183 pts
Perhaps the ref did a clattenburg goat? Seems very strange to let both challenges off with a yellow.16th December 2017 at 11:35 pm #9037
Honestly I’m amazed17th December 2017 at 9:13 am #9038MightyMoosParticipant36 pts
Spurs totally outclassed. Take Kane and Erikson out the team and there’s nothing else.17th December 2017 at 9:32 am #9039PaxtonParticipant97 pts
Moos- I bed to differ. Take alderweireld and Wanyama our the team and there is nothing. Without those two we have no shape at all. We’ve been shockingly poor since they both got injured. For a team wanting regular top 4 finishes that’s completely unacceptable.17th December 2017 at 9:42 am #9040
In the pub yesterday we were talking about the spuds game and the pool game. Win or not get beat in those 2 and the 5 games after each are very winnable. That’s spuds gone now, In 5 games we have Anfield!! If we get to Anfield still unbeaten then somehow get away from there with L=0 then I’m gonna start believing guys. We would have played 28 games, so 10 left!! All if’s and buts I know BUT you never know. We could get spanked by Newcastle away, who knows.
