@Blacky-He’s full of bollix mate. First half they could have had fat Ronaldo up top and it wouldn’t have made any difference. They couldn’t get the ball in to dangerous areas. Second half they had more of the ball but never looked like scoring except for a Romero chance. Once Casemiro went off they had plenty of the ball and attacks but we ended up gifting them goals. Dont disagree that we look mid table at times but some brass neck on a Spurs fan to be saying that when they dont look any better themselves.

No fan of YooUtd, obviously, but you guys aren’t even close to being the best at the Lane this year, despite all your huffing and puffing, you had two shots on goal, scored two goals… one from a set-piece which on another day could have been cancelled out… (am I the only who doesn’t understand why one week it gets called, the next it doesn’t, I think we would all like a bit of consistancy on that one!)…. we had more shots, more possission, more passes…

You guys have had a decent run over the last 4/5 games, which have only masked over the problems we all know you have, they all looked very much like they were still there today to me.

Talking about missing sitters, Sesko had a couple of great opportunities and completely fluffed his lines. Looks shockingly slow to get his feet sorted at times and not sure that can be coached out of him.

Its the lack of physicality and athleticism that costs us every week. Bruno was shocking all game giving the ball away at will and losing every challenge. Yet I’m sure Amorim wouldn’t have subbed him for Mainoo even if he was fit.

Never said you did pal, fact is our ‘defending’ is still totally fucking hapless even without either of those two clowns in goal, that’s the point. If you cloned the very best attributes of all of our CB’s we still wouldn’t have a top player, and it’s the same with our full backs.

As it stands there are only 4 teams in the entire league that have conceded more goals than us, and those are Wolves, Forest, West Ham and Burnley, that’s just a total fucking embarrassment.

Until Casemiro and Maguire went back off, thought we looked comfortable. You’re always wary whilst it’s only 1 nil.
You can definitely see signs of improvement in our general play in possession. However we a still mentally susceptible at times during games. Agree with Blacky that we continue to concede our goals in quick succession.
Soon as we let one in you immediately think how soon before another.

Amorim needs to wise the fuck up fast, his totally unnecessary tinkering with the defence in every game costs us nearly every time he does it, and why in fucks name he thinks it’s a good idea to burn all 5 subs by the 80th minute when we are already winning the game is yet another example of his absolutely clueless game management.

The whole team started the second half lethargically and the moment Maguire got injured you could smell the goal for Spurs because one thing Maguire does so well is defend that 18yard box expertly.. as for taking off Casemiro and Dorgu; Amorim could have waited a bit … Cunha had a terrible game so bringing Mount on for him is justifiable.

Next month is AFCON .. we are going to loose Amad, Mbeumo and Mazraoui …

Maguire is also becoming more and more injury prone as the years go by, we had the same thing happen to the likes of Pallister and Ferdinand in the past who previously had hardly ever missed a game from one year to the next but then were hit with chronic back conditions that really hampered their latter years at the club, so to give him another year’s contract now would make very little sense.

I saw Ugarte play a few times before we signed him and he looked decent at getting around the pitch and breaking up play but he has gone to complete shit since joining us. He looks so fucking nervous every time he enters the pitch ands looks to have zero confidence in his own ability. Best for all parties if he is moved on and we try to recoup whatever we can. Problem is i dont think there’ll be any takers
