This has systematically been segmented from A to G so PL matches will regularly be in place to be broadcasted.

I did noticed re this year for example, our visit to Arsenal is either Fri or Sat’day night prior to Xmas, but I suppose from breaking the orthodox of what we’ve been used to seeing, I don’t particularly mind.

Imagine a Liverpool V Man United on a Saturday Night at Anfield competing with the X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing?! ?

Fortunate to be born and brought up in a generation pre-Sky and during a time where the furthest stretch was Monday evening in a given run of matches for the weekend.

Some may argue the point of family time and an overspread which is absolute fairdinkum and I for one would be in total agreement.

I wonder how this would impact subscription packages – naturally price increase which may result to angry subscribers/football fans.

A welcoming concept from my point of view in small doses 🙂
