I thought they would struggle last night, but still expected them to get over the line in the end so that’s a real fucking bonus for us. Having watched Wolves’s recent games versus Arsenal, Villa and now Liverpool I have to say that Joao Gomes has impressed me more and more, he was the best midfielder on the pitch last night for me.
He’s probably going to be available for 50 to 60 mill in the summer so I would be doing the deal right now because he’s a far better player than Baleba and he would be a massive upgrade on that useless fucker Ugarte._____________________________

Yeah mate,he is a solid cmf. When Liverpool pressed high Wolves teammates were looking for Joao Gomes to get them out of the pressing. Been watching him closely for a year now and here we have a cmf who can stand on his own. Not carried by others.

Yes mate, he’s got the right profile as well. Just turned 25 years of age and with 3 years PL experience under his belt. Out of all the midfielders we’ve been linked with I would go for him first because it should be the easiest deal to get done, then we can look at all the other options that are out there because we will need at least one other top midfielder to be brought in.

The beauty about Joao Gomes is that he can do all easily.. play as a DM or a Box to box and he can pick a pass as well as score and tackle../ but he isn’t a media hyped player so consider him to be at the bottom of the recruitment list.. and the mention of their left back is also a good shout he has a good engine n delivers good crosses but both aren’t statement signings so expect Man UtD to not consider them.
Joao Gomes does stand out …
