Jm1502-Remember the last time United won the title? As for the CL,well,we have become a canon fodder! And rightly so,considering the amount of utter dross we have @ our club.

24th February 2026 at 10:01 pm #240112IΒ΄m just gonna join you on this thread as nobody else got anything else going on for the Champions League. BΓΆdo vs Inter 5-2 what a result… That has to be one of the most remarkable results in recent history

25th February 2026 at 8:06 am #240114In fairness to Bodo Glint they have had a remarkable run this season in the Champions league Since after December beating the likes of Man City, Atletico and Inter (home nd away) whilst playing 433 and not being defensive.

25th February 2026 at 9:46 am #240115Absolute fantastic, great for football. I imagine they done it without crowding opponents goalkeeper in cornerkicks. The way Arsenal are trying to win Premiere league with.

25th February 2026 at 10:40 am #240119Serie A should just be closed down,an absolute joke of a league! But, what a fantastic display and performance from Bodo! I bet they would give us a right spankingππππ

25th February 2026 at 10:51 am #240123In fairness to Bodo they’ve scouted and recruited players who want to play. Both Hogh and Hauge have been in Italy or Germany and left in order to actually play regularly, both turned down offers from other clubs to go to Bodo in order to play regularly. It makes a huge difference having players who want to be at you club and want to play for your club. Hauge was at AC Milan for a while before leaving.

26th February 2026 at 8:23 am #240159Interesting article about Villa and how they have “over performed” this season on the BBC this morning. Every time i’ve watched them this season i’ve felt that they were very lucky. And the stats back that up. The article reckons that their current form is more reflective of the team. 2 wins in 6 and only scored 8 goals in the past 8 games. By their stats they think Villa should be in about 12th place and they don’t seem to think Villa will stay the distance. They go to Wolves on Friday night and after that host Chelsea before coming to Old Trafford. And they still have to play Liverpool and they’re away at City last game of the season. So i hope they drop out all together!!

26th February 2026 at 10:01 am #240160If a team is performing over the odds like that then you have to credit the manager. Emery’s teams, by and large, have tended to over perform. Perhaps he’s good at instilling a good work ethic but also an element of a ‘David vs Goliath’ mentality in his players which is why he’s been successful at Villa, Sevilla, Villareal and Valencia but not Arsenal and Spartak Moscow because those teams are arguably the big fish in the pond. Admittedly he did well at PSG but didn’t do what he was really brought in to do which was win a Champions League, you could also argue that any coach would have won the trophies he won at PSG given the resources at his disposal.

26th February 2026 at 11:05 am #240165Yeah, thought Villa were very lucky against us at their place. Bodo Glimt have been sensational and Galatasaray beating Juve would have been a shock in the old days, but not now.

27th February 2026 at 8:28 am #240197Been thinking that myself Dee. Although they are the “worst team in the history of the league” though aren’t they?!

27th February 2026 at 9:14 am #240201This is a huge game for Wolves, a local derby of sorts. Given how bad their season has been, it would make for their fans if they could beat Villa.

27th February 2026 at 10:37 pm #240253Wolves did it for us .. now we just gotta get that 3points against Palace .. we need to be taking advantage of every teams slip ups..
Maverick.. Joao Gomes and Mane are the two players who stand out the most in that wolves team and Joao Gomes can also create from deep totally worth having a look at and Mane can play anywhere across the front 3 or 4
