Blacky – For the first time in his reign Amorim wasn’t getting beaten every week. There was clear progress. 15th to 5th with more points, shots and goals is progress. For some reason you won’t accept any of those facts.
The timing of his sacking was weird as fuck and was more about some kind of fall out behind the scenes than results.
It’s by the by now but hopefully the club has a better idea than Darren Fletcher going forwards!!_____________________________

@Happy you really are some crackpot pissing positivity buggard … you call winning 8games from 21games progress also that 5th position he left us in was solely because all other teams are also shite this season .. imagine Liverpool with their atrocious season are still in 4th. @happy – The only place this progress under Amorim has ever really existed is as a figment of your deluded, crackpot imagination, and this 5th place position was always built on a hill of shifting sand, as we are already starting to see as we gradually slide further down the table with both City and Arsenal up next.
The reality of the matter is that we have just completed an ‘easy’ run of fixtures where we have played every team who are in the bottom 7 positions in the table and we have dropped points to every single one of them, plus we also lost at home to 12th place Everton who played 80 minutes with 10 men, but that still seemingly wasn’t enough for Amorim to alter his ridiculous system and adapt his team formation to what was happening on the pitch that night.
The home draw with Wolves that could easily have been another embarrassing defeat was obviously the last straw, and during the subsequent meeting with Wilcox and Berrada where they told him it was time to ditch his 3-4-3 system and play a more attacking and entertaining style of football Amorim blew up, saw his arse and decided to deliberately engineer his own demise in his next two press conferences so he could get the fuck out, which he has regularly spoken about doing ever since he joined the club, and which 100% should have happened last May.
The guy should never have been appointed in the first place and his brand of soporific, safety first football went against everything that our footballing DNA has been about for the last 80 years since Matt Busby took over after WW2, and he won’t be fucking missed.
Yet again you are living in denial on Fantasy Island to suggest anything different, but you’ve been getting every big call wrong for the last 20 plus years so it’s no surprise to see you doing so again here, it was ever thus!🤡🤡😂😂😂_____________________________

It wouldn’t surprise me if the sacking of Amorim was an orchestrated plan agreed by all parties.
Firstly, The board finally realised they’d got the wrong man and to financially back in now and definitely in the summer transfer window would be disastrous. However because every decision Ineos has made thus far has been a clusterfuck. They knew by just sacking him they would face even more criticism.
Amorim obviously had 3 year contract so wouldn’t quit. Therefore I personally think the likes of Berrada, Wilcox and Sir Jim said to Amorim “ create a stir during the press conference”. We will then have to sack you or we’ll look weak you get your payout._____________________________

Regarding Amorim I did like him as a person. Perhaps he was too truthful at times but he came across with personality and charisma.
Part of me admires the fact that he believed in his style of play and wouldn’t change from it (don’t get me wrong, he had to go) but in this day and age when everyone is flip flopping about. Sticking to your beliefs is trait I can appreciate. That said I do think he has definitely ruled himself out of working for any big champions league clubs in Spain, Italy or Germany and any top 10 premier league club_____________________________

Ineos hired Amorim knowing what football he produced. Amorim was dead right going against them. He wanted a cmf last summer he didn’t get one so at least he wanted it now in January but was denied again. His former Sporting Lisbon players were also denied. Don’t think any player he wanted arrived to his team. We have lost precious time again. It’s rinse and repeat now with the old guard coming in AGAIN. The torture just never stops.

I think Gyokeres has proven just how weak the Portuguese league is nowadays, and both Porto and Benfica are pale shadows of their former selves. If Amorim was still asking the board to sign his mates from Sporting I’m glad they told him to go fuck himself.

@Zico – I don’t think for one second that Ineos even considered the style of football Amorim wanted to play or it’s total unsuitability to either Manchester United FC or the Premier League in general, and the reason for that is they are all absolutely fucking clueless.
Just look at Ratshit’s involvement in all these sporting ventures he’s bought into, not one of them has been successful and in most cases they have gone further down the pecking order than they were before the arrogant egotistical twat came in._____________________________

Blacky-I think Ineos kneel to the slaughter Sporting did against City. But not knowing HOW Amorim did it or how Amorim’s presentation of his ideas during interviews wasn’t noticed is the lowest of the low. I think the biggest problem of them all is Glazers saying yes to Ineos and no to the Saudis. We are still in debt and will be forever unless the leeches are out.

I think the only leagues we should be actively recruiting from in Europe are France, Spain, Germany, Italy. We shouldn’t ignore Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium and Scandanavia but their level has definitely dropped in recent years. It should only be an absolute diamond.

Look we weren’t expecting Amorim to set the league on fire or Blaze away any of the top4 teams but continuously dropping points against team in the bottom half of the table whilst always playing with 5defenders and 1DM is a recipe for getting sack without questions at any top team in the world except at Man Utd which is run by clueless fuckwits..
Just like Ten Haag let’s see where Amorim lands next because before we gave him the job after all the top teams and even fucking WestHam had passed on him so after his spell with us it will be even hard except back to Portugal for him
