Yeah, looks like Saudi. Newcastle should have taken him and cash for Isak. I think he has something about him, big, strong, quick, angry. I always thought he might have done well for us although I know most will disagree.
Harvey Elliot will be off soon as well, £40 million minimum. Signed him for about 4 million.

I don’t recall saying Ekitike was shit happy, in fact he was on my very short list of potential strikers to sign this summer. I actually think he’s better than Isak who, although good, has become wildly overrated (courtesy of the English media) and who is also injury prone.
On another note, Wirtz looks a Rolls Royce but I’m very quickly changing my mind about Adam Wharton, and not just based on today. He gets about a bit, gets a foot in and intercepts, but I’m not seeing a lot else. Liverpool’s title I’m afraid but I guess the consolation is that it won’t be Citeh._____________________________

The scousers are actually playing that Dutch total football type thing from the 70s where they’re all just moving all over the place, no coaching the fuck out of them and imposing strict formations, just quality footballers making their own decisions on the pitch.

Yeah they look good going forward but i suspect Van Dyke is past his best now and they seem a little vulnerable on the break. Agree with Wharton, a few nice passes but not much more. I thought when we were linked with Ekitike you said he wouldn’t be good enough? He looks top drawer today. Not sure how Palace are losing this though…

Agree about VVD, finished, was glad when they gave him the new contract. Same with Salah tbh, looks like they’ve got better options than the 33 year old, especially if Isak comes in. Thing that mat do for the scousers is that Kerkez and Frimpong are great going forward but not so good the other way.
