@jumper you do realize the older striker in reference is Watkins who mind you has played 5games for Villa this season with Zero goals .. as for Mobile strikers only a blind will say Sesko isn’t mobile, making runs or making himself available without his teammates being able to spot him .. also there’s a reason why Kane chose Bayern over us .. because we are simply Shite nd have been for years ..

I’m not saying it should have been Watkins. I’m just saying it should have been someone who could handle the pressure, been an outlet to create play and gets behind the opposition. I haven’t seen Sesko do enough of that so far.
For a 6ft 5 striker he’s not very opposing on defenders, you would want him to bully them and let them know they’re in for a tough game.
Let’s see how the next 5/6 games goes, he could still be unfit but good strikers create space for themselves and Sesko needs to move up a few gears.

Lads, for any of our strikers, Hojlund included, on the left we’ve Dorgu who hit I don’t know how many crosses and couldn’t beat the first defender on Sunday, on the right we’ve Amad who’s a left footed player which means he can’t overlap effectively because he has to cut back inside to get on his stronger foot. The two players who are supposed to supply crosses to Sesko or whoever are clearly unable to do so effectively. No wonder we’re fucked.

That is precisely why Amorim’s pathetic ‘plan’ is doomed to abject failure. Manchester United should always play with wingers, every decent period in our history tells you that, but oh no good old Ruben knows better apparently and he somehow thinks that the likes of Dalot, Dorgu and Mazraoui are going to be effective enough at providing a quality supply into the box for Sesko and the rest to feed off, that’s just pure comedy gold.

I think that, secretly, Amorim would have liked to have been offered the Benfica job when Bruno Lage got sacked. I think he would have walked and we wouldn’t have asked Benfica for a large severance package in order to let him leave without egg on our face (although having a manager quit United to take the Benfica job is probably embarrassing). However, they’ve gone with Mourinho now so it’s immaterial.

If he goes up against Chelsea with Bruno and just one other in midfield then I can’t see any possible way we get anything out of the game, but if he wises the fuck up for once then we can definitely get some joy against their defence.
Having said all that, he basically went with the same formation away at City as he did against Burnley at home, so the chances of him having some sort of much needed epiphany for this match are next to none because he’d much rather lose games and continue to damage the club than he would appear to admit he’s got it so horribly wrong by making changes to the team’s formation._____________________________

Happy if you watched their game against Bayern although Bayern totally out played them i would definitely say we should fear because if we had played against that Bayern team we would have shipped more than the 3goals Chelsea got .. as for @Jumpers saying a good striker should create space for himself Sesko keeps making runs and making himself available; how else will he have to create space for himself when his teammates cannot find him.. and why would you need a striker to come deep nd get on d ball spraying out passes like Kane when we have two No.10s and Bruno fernandes in the same team..
