The 27th November will mark 10 years since the tragic death of Gary Speed.
An all round good natured and a competitive professional playing and managing.
I’m sure in all quarters, he will be fondly remembered.

He was a cracking player nil and did wonders for our national team as a manager. We hadn’t been been at a major tournament in my lifetime but I have seen us at 2 now and a lot of credit for that belongs to Gary Speed. God bless.

He was mentally ill Moos and needed help sadly nobody realised how ill he really was.

I think we all know Moos is just trying to get a reaction, best just ignore him he probably doesn`t understand the complexity of mental health.
His death was such a shock as I think like a lot of you saw him only the day before on Football Focus and none of us could have known that anything was wrong.

You need to learn when to keep quiet Moos and think a bit more carefully before you post.
My wife’s Cousin commited suicide she threw herself in the River and drowned herself leaving a young daughter. I watched the whole family suffer and they still do but no one has ever blamed my Wife’s Cousin for their sufferings because they knew my Wife’s Cousin had to be very ill to do something like that.

Nine, It was a dreadful comment and a real shame to read on a thread created in good will by nil purely to pay respects to the footballer we once knew.

Moose, don’t pretend you werent on a wind up. The only thing “betrayed” here is your ignorance on the effects of depression on people’s psyches.
If you knew the slightest thing about it, you’d know that depression partially shuts down people’s consideration of other people’s feelings. They are trapped in a kind of tunnel vision scenario, with their own problems.
Although they can seem selfish or then like at the time, they are merely suffering from a side effect of it.
You have no such excuse, yet totally lack empathy. I’d hate to see what you’d be like of you had an excuse.
Maybe its about time you took your racist, homophobic, mental illness mocking shit somewhere else.
