Just watched it back and was happy enough with parts of the game. Thought Santos and Tielemans looked decent. Still need that star midfielder, a striker and left back. Mbuemo scored again but he’s never a striker. And Zirkzee is far too lethargic to ever make it as a PL forward.

Mbuemo looked sharp, much sharper than he did for most of last season. I think as long as he removes food from his dietary plan he’ll be a good player for us. also enjoying what I’m seeing from Santos including his defending. also, how have PSG not seen enough of that keeper to put him in the bin?

According to Sky Sports Mount just got a kick on the foot and his withdrawal was just precautionary. Apparently he walked on the team bus. So don’t get your hopes up about that other midfielder coming!

A midfield of Santos-Tielemans-Bruno will have chemistry as long as they get enough game time together; and like i said Santos will only get better with time. We need midfielders who can comfortably hit passes between the lines and also switch plays with cross field passes not all that sideways putrid nonsense.
Post match interviews and Amad is name-checking Rashford as one of the players to expect big things from when the full team is back; i miss the good old days where once a Judas always a Judas.
