All the talk of Ugarte being one often best defensive mids in Europe and Mainoo the rising star of English football yet they can’t get in ahead of a knackered Casemiro and Bruno. Don’t see any additions in midfield happening this window so he’s going to have to work out a way of at least getting legs in the middle of the park to stop the team being so easy to play through. If he starts the season with Casemiro and Bruno in midfield then he can have no complaints if he gets bulleted before Christmas.

Bruno x Casemiro – bruno is not a CM and Casemiro legs are gone
Mainoo x Ugarte – Ugarte can’t pick out a pass and Mainoo is well if we are sincere overrated
We will continue to struggle this season. We have more CB, LWBS and 10s than we have a proper CM.

If Amorim intends to use Amad as a RWB, Bruno in midfield and retains Onana as his number one GK then I can only conclude that he is either away with the fucking fairies, or has realised that he is doomed to failure at OT either way and just wants to get sacked to get the fuck out.
Looking at the fixture list it’s more than likely that there will be 5 or 6 defeats before we even get to the end of October, so that will spell the end for him anyway._____________________________
