It’s all about the W’s now, and I reckon we now need another 5 of them to get back into the Champions League. I see that soft as shite cunt Yoro was at it again, I just can’t be having that fucker – he far more resembles a member of One Direction than he does a centre half who’s going to ever put his body on the line to keep the ball out of our net.
Hoping for an Arsenal win now, which will see us 6 points ahead of Chelsea with a much kinder fixture list than they have got._____________________________

1st March 2026 at 4:28 pm #240475We definitely got lucky with that Red and Bruno did actually turn up in the second half once Cunha was told not to encroach in his space⦠the issue today wasnāt the defence as both Maguire and Yoro did more with ball than Casemiro and Mainoo combined. Sesko was taken off too early and we needed extra fresh legs in the middle.
Except the club is absolutely fucking blind Mainoo is definitely not the solution; Casemiro is already gone. The most damning is that palace did play on Thursday whereas our lot had the whole week and still started the game lethargic

1st March 2026 at 4:42 pm #240476I never thought I’d say it, but the balance of the team is definitely suffering since Dorgu got injured and we could do with him getting back sooner rather than later.

1st March 2026 at 5:17 pm #240477Thats why we need an entire new defence,Yoro was again utterly shite! Bruno got better in the 2nd half, because that shite Cunha stayed wide.
Case and Mainoo utter dross, like playing without them,Mbeumo and Dalot, did they even play?
Very lucky with the red and pen, otherwise complete shit game!_____________________________

1st March 2026 at 6:36 pm #240479ex united players whisper ‘Kobee mainoo’ when they refer to him, as if he’s Zidane or something. I don’t dislike the lad at all but if he’s united standard I’d better brush off my old boots. to make matters worse they want to build a team around him! I’m begrudgingly starting to get annoyed with cunha and mbeumo. starting to feel like a lot of money for not a lot. and as for Yoro. there’s no way I’d have him ahead of heaven. but he’ll always get picked beforehand because of his price tag. ridiculous. we need to sign players who are willing to take all the PEDs as I’m tired of seeing zombies wearing the shirt.

1st March 2026 at 7:46 pm #240482Englishbob thatās the damning thing about Kobbie Mainoo ⦠the hype by the media and some fans also knowing the club they wonāt do the smart thing to get rid of now but will reward him with a new contract..
Both Cunha nd Mbeumo were shite today but both can be fixed to a degree.. if Mbeumo doesnāt spend all game chasing back because Dalot is always caught out of position then he would be more effective in attacking.. as for Cunha he spends all game occupying the No.10 position forgetting he is playing as a left winger..
and it doesnāt matter much if we have Maldini and vidic as CB with the amount of chances we concede every game because the midfield does absolutely fuck all to protect the defense and fullbacks are absolutely waste.

1st March 2026 at 9:27 pm #240487Poor first half, but much better second half. Sesko with another goal, which is great to see.
Need to keep the run going.
Newcastle is another kettle of fish though and will be a tough match for us.

1st March 2026 at 10:36 pm #240490Thatās absolutely mental that weāve not been 3rd in the league, at any stage of the season, in almost 3 years!! WTF??
Lots of discussion on the summer signings, but youād have to argue theyāre better than what we had last season.
Suppose the question is – Would you have Garnacho and Rashford as our wingers over Cunha and Mbeumo/Amad?_____________________________

1st March 2026 at 11:19 pm #240491Definitely have Cunha and Mbuemo over them, their work ethic alone makes them preferable. Amad flattered to receive again today. Plenty of running and a couple of shots on target but nothing of substance created

2nd March 2026 at 9:11 am #240493Yep, there’s no question that those players have improved the team. Just need to carry that on this summer.

2nd March 2026 at 9:17 am #240494Amad looked more dangerous in the ten minutes he was on than either Cunha and Mbeumo had in the preceding eighty killy. In fact, the second fastest player in the PL didnāt beat a man all day. And we didnāt buy them for their work ethic, not that that particularly impressed me, we bought them to create chances and score goals, and of late they havenāt done enough of either.

2nd March 2026 at 9:33 am #240497None of them, including Amad, have been great recently. Amad didn’t do much either, a few shots on target but again, no end product. All I was saying that Garnacho and Rashford were, are, lazy cunts and I’d rather have Cunha and Mbuemo who track back and work for the team than the other two.

2nd March 2026 at 9:39 am #240498Exactly Killy – And what those attacking players do now for Bruno is they give him the scope to be able to drag them to winning games as its so well put here:
“Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and ā more recently ā Benjamin Sesko have borne some of that attacking, creative load, but looked like any of the numerous inadequate forwards Fernandes has played with previously at United here, requiring the Portuguese playmaker to pull on his big boy pants and attempt to turn a 427th game as a Red Devils player in Unitedās favour on his own.
His dipping free-kick forced an excellent fingertip save from Dean Henderson, who made just one further stop in the first half, from a Sesko header following a Fernandes cross. Casemiro headed Unitedās best chance wide from a Fernandes free-kick that the United captain won himself with a nutmeg.
It was a typical āf*** it, Iāll do it thenā response from a man who must be acknowledged not only as one of the Premier Leagueās best players but also one of the very best leaders, and Fernandes turned the game on its head with one superb pass early in the second half. The key to it was him rapping the pass first-time into Cunha, which caught Lacroix unawares and allowed the Brazilian to roll the Palace defender, get ahead of him and draw a foul which resulted in a penalty and a cruel but reasonable DOGSO red card.
Fernandes converted from the spot and there was only going to be one winner from then on as a Palace side which had been wilting in any case were struggling to handle the heat that Fernandes then managed to conduct to his teammates.
It was a little under a year ago that Roy Keane last questioned Bruno Fernandesā captaincy, labelling him a āf***ing imposterā, claiming ātalent isnāt enoughā and insisting heās ānot a fighterā, in what has been a leader-denying vendetta from one of Unitedās greatest-ever skippers against the incumbent pretty much since Fernandes was appointed as Harry Maguireās successor in the summer of 2023. We wonder what Keane thinks now.Because the big difference between this United side and what Fernandes had to put up with previously is that there are now players capable of being dragged up to somewhere close to his level. He may still be required to do the dragging, as was the case here against Palace, but itās now a worthwhile effort, as proven by Seskoās excellent movement in the box and header from the captainās delightful cross to win this game and move United up to third in the Premier League.
Fernandes remains Unitedās best and most important player, but the uptick in quality around him at the top end of the pitch means that him leading by example and looking to turn games around ends not in frustrated arm flailing and sulking but in goals and points, and should mean a dramatic change in how heās viewed as a Premier League captain”.

2nd March 2026 at 10:29 am #240502Fuck me happy, you almost agreed that your mate Gashy is a cunt there mate. And as for Bruno ādraggingā us to victory, he was his usual anonymous self again in the main. He just cannot seem to manage the team through those nail biting 2-1 up periods that weāve become accustomed to, because despite his flashes of undoubted genius, he has very little calm and composure to ādragā us anywhere. Unfortunately, youāre in the āhe can do no wrongā camp because you have a complete inability to assess a game and critique it fairly and constructively.

2nd March 2026 at 10:33 am #240503As for mentioning Seskoās contribution as an afterthought behind the second fastest man in the PL and Cunha, heās scored one less goal than the second fastest man in the PL and a couple more than Cunha, having spent far less time on the pitch than either of them.

2nd March 2026 at 11:10 am #240505Garnacho and Rashford were cancer that needed cutting off and getting rid of both along with Sancho and Onana was the best piece of business. Why we also find it hard to create chances against the smaller teams is because except from Bruno, Cunha and to an extent Mbeumo the rest of the team does fuck all to create chances either by crosses, making timely runs to drag the opposing players or be able to release a well weighted pass.
Getting good fullbacks is equally as important as getting good CM for next season.

2nd March 2026 at 11:15 am #240509When you have a striker like Sesko, I’d like to see teams revert to having right footed wingers on the right wing and left footed wingers on the left wing. Bruno’s cross from deep was testament to how well it can work, to then have overlapping wing/corner backs who can cross from the by-line would be great. Having balls that strikers can attack rather than waiting for it to come into the box because the wingers have had to cut back onto his stronger foot makes no sense to me whatsoever.

2nd March 2026 at 11:18 am #240510JM – All the pundits are saying Bruno is the player of the season now after yet again “dragging his team to victory”. Not quite sure why you think he was his “usual, anonymous self” in a game where he scored and assisted. Plus his pass created the penalty. 7 goals and 13 assists now in the league for someone who’s played most of the season in central midfield is very impressive.
Not sure what your dig about Sesko is all about – pretty sure i said we finally have a proper striker on our hands with him.
Anyway, i’ll continue to look at the positives from that win yesterday and you can draw upon the negatives!

2nd March 2026 at 1:19 pm #240520When Ronaldo used to be on our left h cut in loads. Evra would always be bombing on the overlap, why doesn’t Shaw do this?
