The current state of my team at the moment is painful to say the least. The fans are more divided than ever. It is all the more painful when you are a season ticket holder which I became one season ago. This whole top four nonsense has bitten us in the bum. If there was more guile and attack then we wouldn’t be in this position. The fans don’t understand Wenger can’t be sacked he is to engrained in the club. He has to say when he is ready. Perhaps the most painful is where Tottenham are in the league. Heavens. I shudder to think of them lifting the premier league trophy!!! Anyway what say ye?

Great first post Goonerfreak

I never thought I’d say this but I actually feel sorry for Arsenal fans now! I used to be one of those who defended Wenger as he always seemed to spend less than his rivals and still achieve Champions League football while constantly selling his best players.

The last few years though he has spent significant amounts of money and has still come up short. The excuses are getting fewer and fewer. I just can’t see a way out for him now. If he signs another contract there will be mayhem in the stands. What a potentially sad ending for a manager who initially brought so much to the game in England.
