My heart goes out to Charlie Kirk’s family. A wife and 2 young children, robbed of a loving husband and father.
Charlie had no time for political violence – he was a man who staunchly advocated for free speech, reasoned and civil debate, and sought to reawaken belief in the values that made Western society the finest in the world.
The Political Left are the ones who seek to shut down debate. They are the ones who label anyone they disagree with as Fascists, Nazis, Far Right, Racists, Xenophobes and threats to Democracy.
Charlie listened, he educated himself, he learned from others, he debated, he persuaded and he did all of these things without insulting people, shouting people down or threatening violence against anyone. His core belief was that anything and everything should be debated through reasoned and respectful discourse.
His death is a tragedy but it’s the culmination of decades of lefties using such severe language with respect to people who disagree with them that has brought us here. It’s got to stop.

He debated them. They called him names, declared him a racist and a fascist without evidence, made little to no sense, demanded he leave university campuses etc. Just watch the videos.
It’s the Left that, previously tried to kill their opponents, and now actually are killing them.
Charlie Kirk was the one that preached reasonable and polite discourse, debate and discussion. It’s the Democrats in the US, and the Left in general in the UK & Europe that brand everyone fascists, Nazis, Far Right etc, without engaging in any kind of debate.
In the US – just listen to the likes of Chuck Schumer, Pelosi and AOC. Abhorrent individuals. They don’t debate, they just call everyone Nazis and Far Right, whilst supporting the destruction of traditional values that their country was built on.

Eddy… considering the attacks/murders of democratic politicians, I would say both sides are as bad as each other, and both equally horrific. Unfortunately, this is today’s America, polarized to the extreme, and I only hope the UK (or other countrys), don’t follow down this extremist path.

Very true chucky. The USA has always been a bit of a circus but its full on batshit crazy now.
Hate has become a very powerful tool in American politics especially when it comes to filling a void in the empty lives of the uneducated. People like Kirk and Trump are, or were I suppose now, very good at using this.
The less hate mongers the world has the better.
As for being racist, well yeah Kirk was. Things like “If I see a Black pilot, I’m going to be like, ‘Boy, I hope he’s qualified.'” allude to this.
I quite like irony, so j guess my favorite quote of his is “I think it’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the second amendment to protect our other God-given rights. That is a prudent deal. It is rational.”
