Spot on Trapper, itโs been shite for weeks and weโve been pinching results. It certainly has been coming and the only saving grace from Carrick was that he went to a back four. Other than that itโs virtually Amorim.

5th March 2026 at 11:16 am #240865@Zico, no I watched Cunha on numerous occasions last night just strolling around not making runs to make himself available for a pass, so concerned with taking a man on that he’d rather lose it than pass it. Mbuemo didn’t create much but he was running, he was tracking back, he was working.

5th March 2026 at 11:25 am #240874I think it was just an amazing goal at the end yesterday. Malacia might have done better but not sure it was much more than a wonder goal to be honest. Its a weird league at the moment and luckily teams around us like Villa and Liverpool are putting in shocking performances now as well. Chelsea seem to have something about them with Palmer and Pedro up top. But you’d have to think we’ll finish above one of them at least!
Probably makes the next game against Villa the most important one. HAVE to beat them!_____________________________

5th March 2026 at 11:34 am #240875It was a fantastic goal but Malacia gave him far too much time and space, he should have just fouled him rather than let him get that shot away.

5th March 2026 at 12:17 pm #240890Cunha does hav the tendency to demand for a pass to feet instead to of making runs in behind and getting a pass into space especially when one on one with the opposing fullback.. Malacia had all the time in the world to close the player down and even foul him but instead chose to step back until the goal..

5th March 2026 at 12:42 pm #240893I think sesko has been a good signing, I like heaven a lot, dorgu has been really good as a winger, lemons for me is a no.1 keeper. besides that, after last night, I cannot defend the cunha and mbeumo signings any longer. I still think bruno gets far too much stick on here but everyone is entitled to their opinion. will we get into the champions league? only if it is handed to us on a silver platter, which is what has been happening all season. we certainly won’t have taken the spot by our own hands. apart from a Middle East buy out the only way I’d be comfortable with future signings is if it was made by committee with people on this site as whoever is in charge at united will no doubt make the wrong decisions.

5th March 2026 at 1:25 pm #240897Haha, good call bob. I do think some on here have more idea than our scouts, cubs, girl guides, whatever the fuck they are. And yeah, Iโm guilty of oversticking Bruno, but heโs so frustrating. Moments of genius interspersed with petulance, casualness and profligacy. But most of all, when weโre a goal up and hanging on, we need a calm head and a leader to see us home, and that Bruno is not.

5th March 2026 at 2:15 pm #240903I think Bruno has been so much better under Carrick because he’s been moved further up the pitch than playing deep under Amorim. It’s in his nature to try the ‘Hollywood’ pass, regardless of where he is on the pitch, it’s one of the reasons we bought him. Thus, the great thing about playing him further up the pitch is that, in general, our defence has a chance to reset, or get back, if he gives the ball away on the edge of the opposition box. When he was playing deep under Amorim, he was trying those passes and giving the ball away on the edge of our box, then we were fucked because we didn’t have time to reset and our defence and midfield were all over the shop as a result. He still works and runs like a motherfucker, no pics, but he’s less often in situations to really fuck up the game if he gets it wrong.

5th March 2026 at 2:38 pm #240905@happy – Do me a favour mate, their winning goal would have been prevented well before their guy got his shot off if my 9 year old grandson had been at left back instead of that absolutely useless sack of fucking shit Malacia. If you think that’s a fucking wonder goal you need to get out more!

5th March 2026 at 2:52 pm #240911If you look at that second goal .. Bruno gave a pass to Cunha who shouldnโt be there but should be outwide as we were basically playing 442 with Zirkzee and Sesko; Cunha shouldnโt be there right infront of the Newcastle box โฆ it was Cunhaโs lazy reverse pass that got intercepted and hence the counter with the most useless LeftBack in the world chasing.
Carrick has had 2months to drill it into his skull to stay outwide and stretch the play but he hasnโt and it keeps costing us because whoever plays LB has to both attack that left flank and defend simultaneously

5th March 2026 at 4:44 pm #240918@killyboye-Dont think I said anything about Cunha yesterday but I will do it today. Loved when we signed him because he takes on players. But is he daft or something? Stupid things coming from him, things you just don’t do in a team sport. Wrong decisions in wrong time. Amad and Mbuemo are shot to pieces in confidence while the Cunha has to much confidence ๐. Still have no midfield what so ever. Got to admit that Harry is our rock in back4 but it doesn’t say much when you look at the options. Yoro was not so very bad yesterday as he use to be. Lammen did a mistake for their winner, he drifted to the left before the shot leaving more space, why the fuck did he do that?
This squad is a midtable team. LB, RB, CB and 3 CMF is urgent in the summer. Except for Dorgu we have no proper wingers. I play Dorgu before Cunha because of his crosses to Sesko. The irony is he was bought to be a wingback and Cunha as the lef winger. It’s a fucking mish mash of everything.

5th March 2026 at 6:47 pm #240920Bale was bought as a wing back too, not comparing Bale to Dorgu just saying that players can evolve and change as they, and their career, progress
