The killer, was sceptical at first. But a really good he, he narrates and commentates during the film – 8/10.

14th January 2026 at 11:31 am #236752Watching Chad Powers on Disney, very enjoyable. Popcorn TV but has it’s funny moments. Nice to see Glen Powell play a complete asshole, he’s usually so clean cut and nice.

15th January 2026 at 9:46 am #236815I remember watching 28 days later and 28 weeks later when they came out on DVD. 28 days was brilliant, not too many zombies and a great storyline and characters who had a great connection. 28 weeks later was different, good but not on the same level.
Decided to watch 28 years later which came out in 2025. Seriously, what a utter load of dogshit it was, is a shame they’ve gone and made something this shit after the first 2.

1st April 2026 at 8:39 am #242826Is there a series or movie which was really popular that you didn’t like?
For series it is The Wire which I found boring as fuck.
For movie I really thought that Casino wasn’t that great.

1st April 2026 at 12:13 pm #242827Agree with “The Wire”…
Will also add “Friends” and “Seinfild”, two of the unfunniest “funny” shows every made…
Haven’t tried “Landman” yet, looks good and cut from the same cloth as “Yellowstone” which I enjoyed…

1st April 2026 at 7:48 pm #242841and if anyone is looking for a sci fi, you can try to spot me in The wandering earth 2, I found out about a shoot in Iceland for the second movie and jumped on the chance to feature. The first one is great, one of the best disaster movies ever. The 2nd almost as great but it is the biggest ever movie from China, biggest budget etc.

2nd April 2026 at 8:16 am #242849Chunky, excellent shouts on the unfunny shitty fucking friends. Have bad memories of that utter shite. I remember in the 90s in my teenage years. When we had family gatherings, my uncles and their wives would always put that crap on and I had to watch it. When I watch Only fools and horses and other certain comedies. They’re being funny without trying to be funny, just so natural. With Friends, they’re trying really hard to force the joke out, is fucking cringe as fuck.

2nd April 2026 at 8:32 am #242850For those that have Netflix and don’t mind animation, I highly recommend Love Death and Robots. It’s an anthology series, so each episode is self contained. Some episodes were misses for me, but some others are absolute masterpieces.

2nd April 2026 at 11:03 am #242856British TV was definitely loads better in the hey days. Every other thing these days has gone woke and politically correct that they want to be ‘deleting scenes’ etc.
Many of the dramas are atrocious; exaggerated and suspension of reality. Who wants that rubbish when we have enough going on in our society. Mainstream TV essentially done for me.
I think for many, streaming is the way forward.

2nd April 2026 at 2:01 pm #242870MUFC… nailed it on the difference between “Freinds” and “OFAH”…
… remembering having quite a debate sometime back (might have been on here or somewhere else) about the difference between the two… I still maintain OFAH was as funny as fook because it was one writer who wrote the lot… and “Freinds” was about as funny as bleeding hemorrhoids because it took 17 retarded ‘mericans to write a 22 minute episode…
Agree Nil, wokeness has gone to far… somebody somewhere is always going to offended by something somewhere else… but instead of turning the channel and watching something else like normal people, people now have to be heard in their instagram, facebook, myspace, tik-tok, etsy, ebay, teamtalk and amazon pages…

2nd April 2026 at 8:41 pm #242899I didn’t dislike Friends, but at the same time back in those days when it was ‘the thing to watch’, I could never get excited like others. Every other sentence there would be laughter and I just didn’t find any engagement in their humour.
Generally could get into any of the American Sitcoms, even Fresh Prince.
Speaking of woke, I don’t think in the now world In Sickness and in Health would be allowed to be broadcasted.
I tend to watch all the old stuff now from when I was growing up. Better acting for starters and a lot more variety. Definitely escapism!!
