Anybody good enough to finish above City this season even without Aguero, KDB and Walker last night I can’t see anyone being up to it.
Liverpool still remain the most likely challengers to City imo but they are 7 points behind now plus the goal difference which means there would have to be a 3 game turnaround.
I can see Liverpool beating Spurs tomorrow to raise some hopes though albeit I think they will be forlorn.
I haven’t ruled out a late Chelsea challenge by the way Lol. 😊😊😊

Results are panning out as the season unfolds surprising. Yeah, why not Man City lose a match or two or three; Why would I want them to win?!

Agree Nine. If Liverpool can win their games up until they fave City and then win that game, the gap is only 4 points. As you say, it’s 5 in reality with the GD but that’s not impossible to claw back.

We used to be kings of this and still are but others now do the same

Well. one thing for sure, IF, any City player thought about complacency for Sheff Utds visit on Saturday, last night was a wake up call. I said before, to those who believe in playing a lower table team is easy need to re examine the thought. It is not easy. Anarguments could be put forward about them being at the bottom end of the table but some games I have watched they played decent football and have been unlucky. not just thinking of Sheff Utd. Fulham and Brighton have played well and now Burnley appear to be lifting themselves.. All to play guys, only at half way stage, City are a contender, no more than that
