Makes me smile when people write Jose off as a busted flush. His last 2 Clubs were United and Chelsea and in his second tenure at Chelsea he won the the League Cup and the PL title and in his tenure at United he took them to an FA Cup Final 2nd in the PL and won the Europa League and the League Cup.
I’m not saying he can’t be a prize plum at times with some of his actions and what he says but he’s never managed a Club in the last 17 years that hasn’t won trophies and not many can claim that or get anywhere near his trophy haul either.
Levy didn’t need to watch him doing the punditry he did not to know what he achieved everywhere he’s been.

Personally, I don’t doubt what he could achieve with the Spuds, as highlighted by many above he does have a pretty damn decent CV to back him up, but I just don’t like the man. We might win a pot or two in the next couple of years (and let’s face it, as a Spud fan that would be nice!) but along with the pots, and as history shows, the chances of a dramatic implosion by 2021 are more likely than flies on shit.
Unfortunately, us Spuds have no choice but to wait and see!!
Steady Eddy Howe will still only be 43 then, and that lad at Red-bull in Germany 16, so plenty of time for them to have a crack!! 🙂

Pochettino for me, is another victim of a manager over-performing in terms of capability, without winning anything, after coming so close. It reminds me of Rodgers at Liverpool in some ways. Sometimes it’s hard to pick yourselves up after going so close.
Like Rodgers though, Poch will be back. I think he’ll be back sooner though since he had a very good Spurs side for a few years. I wouldn’t be shocked to see him installed at Utd within weeks.

Absolutely Nine, the guy is a winner and took a very average Utd team to 2nd in the league. Don’t get the hate. All managers, particularly winners, don’t always tend to be the nicest of people. As I said, look at Guardiola’s behaviour the other week sarcastically saying a big thank you to the referees and mouthing off to them during the game. Jose would have been vilified for that but Saint Pep gets a free pass.

It’s just my opinion nine. I think his tactics are outdated.
An average utd team were he spent a net of 317m and bought the most expensive player in the world and fell out with him. His constant bashing of his own players. His ridiculous interviews. He’s lost it completely at the end of his spell with Chelsea and utd. Everyone predicted his 3rd season failure at utd.
That’s what I base my opinion on.
