I totally agree, Gakpo has been terrible.
Such a downgrade to Diaz, I think that competition with Diaz made him better last season however there isnβt anyone to trouble him on his side of the pitch so his performances have been poor_____________________________

17th October 2025 at 12:12 pm #228289Gakpo is very frustrating at the moment. Hopefully he can regain some form as his numbers were excellent lsst season
We just have to be up for a battle and just stop conceding so many soft goals
Up to arnie now to fix the problems that are so easy to see

17th October 2025 at 8:24 pm #228292“A blind man galloping through a forest in the dead of night can see Gakpo has not been good this season.”
Who said Gakpo was good this season?
Yes he hasn’t (yet) had the impact that he had last season, but to say he has been terrible is ignorance, and delusuon, of the highest order.
Just look at how he shined for Holland in the international break. I totally tip him to come back stronger for Liverpool as the season progresses.
And If it were not for Robbo’s lackadaisical defending, Gakpo’s goal would have secured a point at Chelsea. Something, the blind fans, are blatantly ignoring.

17th October 2025 at 9:57 pm #228296I really hope this is the game for Wirtz. If he can pull off what he’s capable of in this fixture, it’ll hopefully catapult his career with us into something truly glorious.

17th October 2025 at 10:38 pm #228297Agree DH.
Really willing him to kick on.
I think with a bit of better luck he woulda had a few assists (some just werenβt put away and thatβs not his fault) and coupla goals.
However he needs to stamp his authority on the game more._____________________________

18th October 2025 at 11:04 am #228302We need to start picking a consistent team. Rotation is needed but right full back is changing far to much. Its either bradley or frimpong there.
Our crosses into the box always seen to in swingers from gakpo or salah. Kerkes strengths are not neingy used . Him inverting or under lapping is causing congestion in tue middle. Kerkes strengths are bombing up and down tue line getting crosses in.
Id start giving eitke a run on the left and isak as 9
Mamhash
Bradley konate vvd kerkes
Grav szobo
Mo writz eitike
IsakOn paper that front 4 looks absolutely frightening. They have to get going in this run of games.

We have no idea what Ekitike is like off the left.
If memory serves heβs played left 3 times in his professional career; and thereβs no clarity in what respect he played βleftβ._____________________________

18th October 2025 at 2:26 pm #228309By all reports we were after a no 9 and a versatile forward in the summer. Isak is the no 9 and Ekitike apparently the versatile forwardthat can play multiple forward positions including LW. So far he looks on a no 9 to me so again was it buying a player because their stats are good without looking at how they will fit in the team like I suspect with Kerkez and Frimpong?

18th October 2025 at 2:59 pm #228313Eitike was on the left v bilbao in a froendly. Made a goal. Played only about 5 mins there v galataray but i really think he has the attributes to play there.he drifts out wide left, can beat a player etc If not him then chiesa as gakpo really he not doing it for me
Threeps, writz was sold a plan as well to were he would play but sometimes it doesnt that way sometimes as slot trying to fit grav, szobo, macca and him in the team.

I sincerely hope MacA is back up to speed.

19th October 2025 at 5:02 pm #228379Looking like another shite performance from us. Disjointed, lazy, cumbersome. It’s a team of strangers at the moment.

19th October 2025 at 5:19 pm #228383No flow, just hit and hope balls put in to no effect. Nobody grabbing the game by the scruff of the neck. Wirtz coming on second half might help our flow.

19th October 2025 at 5:20 pm #228384When does Salah return from Africa cup of nations, we could do with him in a game like this.
Or we should have signed Isak, he looks like a good shout for goal return.
Still at least we have an in form Ekitike and Chiesa on the pitch_____________________________
