It really doesn’t matter if it was one person, a hundred or a thousand people who perpetrated the attack, you’re completely missing the point. As the pictures from inside the coach evidence, it was a very frightening experience for the players and you could tell from their faces when disembarking the coach they were clearly very shaken and this definitely affected their performance in the first half – I’ve not seen them play that badly since Pep took charge.
The fact that Liverpool have been charged on numerous counts clearly shows who UEFA think are to blame. But to have the hearing after the CL final does City no justice and does not compensate for the affect it had on the players. If UEFA had any balls, they would order the tie to be replayed behind closed doors.
However, this is the same UEFA who, a few years ago, fined City £25,000 for being one minute late returning to the pitch after half time and at the same hearing fined Porto £17,600 for racist chants aimed at Mario Balotelli – absolute joke organisation._____________________________

I’m not sure about replaying the tie behind closed doors but I not sure either about no action until post the CL Final.
Manchester City were wronged last night and it was a pre planned blatant attempt to influence the result by thousands of Liverpool fans outside the ground which culminated in the Coach being attacked which must have had an impact on the City players.
It was totally wrong and has to be nipped in the bud and I truly hope we don’t see a revenge attack on the Liverpool Coach at the Etihad.

The club have already been charged by UEFA, plus Liverpool did release an official statement of an apology to Pep, Man City and the players.
In relation to those involved, that is now a Police Matter. Let’s hope these people are caught and punished accordingly.

I can’t remember the opposition team involved, but I can recall West Ham doing this, in throwing bottles, objects, etc.
There was no recollection of this resulting to a replay, and I don’t believe this had direct impact to the actual course of events on the pitch.

I see your point.
What I would suggest if something like this was to happen again, the kick off time should be delayed for half-hour.
If players are shaken up and in shock, this would allow them time to compose themselves.

How would justice be done? Some morons acted like hooligans and this has some reflection on the entire club? Get real. Just accept that your team lost because we were the better side on the night and stop looking for excuses. It’s pathetic.

I said before the tie after the plan to meet the City Coach had been revealed let’s hope we’re only talking about the football after the game and sadly we’re not.
What this has done is take the shine off a very good Liverpool performance which is a shame.
