Good summary Sean.
I don’t think anyone is writing Klopp off or doubting Liverpool will be stronger next season. Liverpool’s problem though next season is that a number of PL Clubs could be stronger next season as well.
All the responses to Nil from various posters are in response to Nil trying to claim the pandemic caused Liverpool’s problems this season which nobody buys as every Club have had to cope with the pandemic.
I think you make a very good point about the depth and strength of Liverpool’s squad, one to eleven the team is very strong but it lacks the depth and quality of City’s squad and that makes it difficult for Liverpool to cope when players get injured or lose form.
3 years of challenging at the very top is going to drain players and that imo is partly to blame for this season’s dip
Overall though Klopp has plenty enough credit in the bank to go again next season and it’s going to a very interesting watch as well as a very interesting Summer because what Liverpool can do in the transfer market this Summer might well dictate how Liverpool go next season.

Kabak right, Philips middle abd Davis left mate. Not very strong really is it but kabak has done well since he came in. I’d definitely take him for 18m.

Very painful to experience being blunt. We’ve lost. Very Sad.

Don’t get down mate. Season is a write off. I’ll be astonished if we get 4th as there is a lot wrong at the minute. We are exhausted, far to many players are out of form etc etc
Hopefully next season get the fans back, few players back… buy and sell well etc and see what happens
Next year be all about getting back into the cl for me. Can’t see Us competing with city and Chelsea to be honest. Utd will spend big aseell. Next season is going to be very tough it we can certainly look to much better

I’m more and more feeling we need new players Mikus.
Also, being blunt, change this ‘Front 3’.
Liverpool have always been about Pass and Move and Attack Minded.
We need Fresh Energy and Good Quality Players. Our Philosophy needs to be thought about. The 97 and 99 points really took something out of us and with a seismic amount of injuries, We’ve come up short, Sadly.

We can forget about Top 4. We needed to win last night and we end up throwing 2 points away. The midfield was missing. James Milner unfortunately doesn’t have the legs.

Have mixed feelings at the moment with FSG. There’s a lot of good done from them, I can’t dismiss that in the way of business development, investment into our whole infrastructure and players.
The increase in ticket prices, furloughing staff of course didn’t go down well, but they’ve back down in the end and apologized.
The harsh reality is that all owners have a ruthless streak. Otherwise they wouldn’t be rich.
At least with these guys, it’s a case of better the devil you know.

Well, that was apparently the last kick of the game. Even with a ‘helping hand’ of VAR, we failed once again to keep hold of 3 points.
This guys sums us up. It’s hard to imagine how we were top of the table at Christmas in the first place. It’s a distant memory (well that’s what it feels like).
We’ve lost structure, discipline and most of all Leadership. I honestly don’t want us to partake in the Europa (which I suspect will be where we end up).

Our fixture with United has been rescheduled for next Thursday. I think it’s more advantageous for us as United have to play, Thursday, Sunday, Tuesday, then us where as we only play 1 game this Sat, then effectively a 4 day rest.
