Nil, I don’t understand why you’re getting indignant about anything posted “on a Liverpool forum”. You have been told SO MANY TIMES that your idea of segregation is not how things are done here. Ultimately though, you have just got to accept a little banter.
Are we the most disliked team in the league? Maybe we are and it’s a huge compliment. Do you think we’d be hated if we were bad? No, people would feel sorry for us.
Pagan, we won’t celebrate coming second, instead we feel incredible pride. You don’t lose the league if you get the 3rd highest points ever. We win the league 117 times out of 119 past seasons and that’s amazing. Man City were just more incredible.
If ever there was a time where I felt that Liverpool had future finals to look forward to, even if we missed out this time, this is it. I say that whilst also being a little desperate to finally win under Klopp, so although it sounds like a contradiction, it isn’t.
I’m pretty happy for a fan who’s team have lost a LC, EL and CL final under the current manager. If the Pundits are all bleating on about the same shite and they happen to be ex Liverpool, ya, they annoy me too. It doesn’t make me hate the club though.

Chuckster not just wee Phil mate, we’ve sold a few but we aren’t the only club that’s had to sell players. The whole points was city didn’t have to sell anyone, they just kept buying players. Adlab you do indeed have to put the pieces together mate & to be fair to Pep he’s done a great job there. It is easier when they are the best at what they do but as your noisy neighbors have found in recent times splashing cash isn’t enough. To be fair it took your lot a few seasons to figure it out & they finally signed a top quality manager.
Nil I wouldn’t be at all surprised if we lost this final as well mate but who gives a toss what others think. Hopefully we break the hoodoo next week but it’d be a hell of an accomplishment if spurs do get over us & I’d certainly respect that a lot more than city winning the EPL all things considered.
Pagan very true mate, even if the Datsun did break down you’d be a good chance at getting it going again with a few tools & not need a f’ing computer to do the job. It’s been discussed countless times on here that there aren’t any separate Club sites or Club threads the site is too small for that we all pitch in no matter the Club or the thread lots of comments from other posters unconnected to Chelsea on the Petr Cech thread posted under Chelsea and all the better for it.
Spurs have a great history too, the first side to do the double and the first English side to win a European trophy no need to bash them with the history stick.
Whoever wins the CL Final next Saturday will deserve it Liverpool are rightly the favourites but in a two team Final you just never know that’s the beauty of football.
All the best to both teams I’m thoroughly looking forward to what should be a cracking Final.

Mav, was stressed out yesterday and seeing Chuckster’s message on here wound me up, but I’d honestly say out of this just as a Football Fan, I didn’t want this Scenario where one team has to lose. Purely because I didn’t want Spurs or Liverpool to be on the receiving end of that because in my view, both of these clubs need trophies.
And I always say to it’s worth paying attention to every Silverware available to challenge for.

Sean, luck is never due but last seasons CL Final just felt like 20 years worth of bad luck in one game. I think the lads are more mentally strong going in to it than last time but I worry about the quality of Spurs. On their day, they could hammer us, not just beat us.
We’ve got to make sure that it is our day though. I think if both teams are miraculously at their very best, we’ll take them.. but it almost never works out like that and it’s just one game (which is what i think Nine meant to say btw :P).
I ordered a retro jersey for the final. Got the silver/grey diamond looking Candy one. I really like it.
I would have gotten a red one for luck but my brother in law ordered the one I was thinking of… get this, they sent him the wrong one then!! He got a grey Crown Paints one then… Bad luck omen or what!! 😛
Anyway Nil me old chap, try to keep cool dude. If we lose this final, you’ve got to accept it and offer congrats to Spurs. I mean unless they do something incredibly controversial to win it (obviously, then they are scum!! 😛 )
This Liverpool side will continue to move forward if we can keep Klopp. New contract discussions pending.

I was thinking about the Red one: 1 is 1989, and the other is 1990. Both Red, though the latter has like Confetti designed over it.
Might just get the shirt for Next Season to Wear Next Saturday.
