A ropey first 10 and then we controlled the rest of the half without doing an awful lot.

It may be a 4-2-3-1 on paper but most defo not in practice.

Wirtz and Ekitike have looked lively but I fail to see the patterns of play to get the most out of them or to create for them.

Frimpong looks to have joy when he has space to attack but as we know with this set up we don’t create space for our attacking players to thrive.

I really like Frimpong when you see him in top condition, that recovery pace is to die for, no wonder why nobody almost runs past him but I love him as a fullback, not as a forward. He lacks that composure when delivering the ball in the final third but wow, he could turn into some player for us as a fullback. Cause that is everything you want from a fullback.

Pretty slow and boring. Worrying thing is Slot usually slows it down further in 2nd halves. Some nice touches from Wirtz, Ekitike and Frimpong but no real sustained pressure on the Leeds defence.

Intensity did improve for sure. We’re playing passes to players whereby the opponent just closes in. Space has been a constraint for us when initiating.

The counter may be a better option for us. Why not play crosses more direct like Leeds have done into the Danger area?

The one substitute I would like to see is Chiesa for Bradley, move Frimpong back and see what we can conjure up but we are likely too see Gakpo for Wirtz instead.
