Something dodgy was going on for sure, with my Spuds doing what every club does but somehow getting “caught” doing it… still don’t quite understand what happened, release clause was met, etc…

Nevermind, maybe MGW was playing us for a bigger contract, who knows… obviously wasn’t that depserate for the move and, just like Angie, I only want players who want to play for the club and MGW obviously didn’t.. fair play to him and we move on!
