27th June 2025 at 5:22 pm #220650Come on CM itβs obvious
Fergie said something about 50 years ago
Spuds won a trophy some 50 years later and bring out a range of clothing β¦Bet fergie needs some after sun after that burn π

27th June 2025 at 5:27 pm #220651Ah, that game where Spurs were winning 3 nil at half time at home and ended up getting spanked 5-3. With Fergusons half time talk being ‘lads it’s only Tottenham’
What a legend.

27th June 2025 at 7:29 pm #220667Lets be honest. Spurs fans should enjoy the Europa league thoroughly and the club need to build a statue of Ange. With their history, the next trophy might take another 15 years π

27th June 2025 at 7:58 pm #220669Nothing to cry about here, ironically United were also a shower shite last season, so it wasn’t much of an achievement(unless you were a spurs fan).

29th June 2025 at 9:21 am #220763I think frank is similiar to dyche and big sam. He plays better football but he only knows one way. He had the ideal club in Brentford. It worked. This will end in tears for him and him and andrews favourite for early chop.

29th June 2025 at 9:48 am #220766Interesting view Sean. I thought it was a decent appointment. I think Brentford played some really good stuff when he brought them up. Granted, he went more defensive once in the PL, but I respect him for that. None of this Southampton/Burnley stubbornness of sticking to their principles regardless of the quality of opposition. While that can work at times, I think it takes as much courage to know when to abandon a certain style and adjust to the opposition, which I think Brentford always did quite well

29th June 2025 at 9:48 am #220767CM… we’ve always be various degrees of shit, but having us in our shittiest season for years beat you 4 times shows how far you lot have fallen… and I think it’s going to take a lot more than YooUtd fans are willing to accept to get even Top7, let along CL footy on a regular basis… and the title? Reckon Spuds will win it before you do!
Waspy… not sure about that one, cyber chum, admit to not knowing a great deal about how Frank plays first hand, but from what I’ve seen, he’s very flexible in his approach each weekend, and a hell of a lot less rigid than the likes of Angie, Conte and Maureen, changing formations etc…

29th June 2025 at 11:00 am #220769Ye it be it be interesting ed but if you watch brwntford, its long throw ins, ser plays etc. no problem with that but its a totally different world to how spurs fans want them to play football.
I just donβt think some managers fit a certain club and work wonders there. Him at Brentford, same at bolton and dyche at burnley. Brentford was franks perfect fit and i dont think he will adapt his style at spurs but time will tell mate. Certainly going to interesting

29th June 2025 at 11:21 am #220772Hope youβre right Sean. I just think Frank has already demonstrated a willingness to adapt his style for results and level of opposition so I wouldnβt be surprised to see him reverting to some of the impressive football his Brentford side played in the Championship

29th June 2025 at 11:29 am #220774Besides, above all else, what fans want is success. Anyone saying anything different is kidding themselves. Style is always secondary. Spurs fans got entertaining football with Ange and turned their noses up at it because (aside from the Europa) they were mostly going backwards in their development, losing 22 games last season.

29th June 2025 at 1:08 pm #220779In my lifetime, I’ve never really known Spurs to conduct themselves in that fashion other that counter-attack away from home. Many clean sheets consistently? Just don’t recall as such. They were in the 2015-16 race I think. Ultimately, they’ve always played football with flair and tempo.

29th June 2025 at 5:20 pm #220791Think it’s already a 2 horse race between Liverpool and City with the other top places between Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle and United. Spurs and Villa haven’t strengthened enough yet to be included, for now anyway.
