ParticipantHe should say how much he wants. we have offered him Β£300k PW Β£200m for him, and if they agree do the deal quickly. we can buy 2-3 great players with that money.

ParticipantI have got no problem if Hazard wants to leave. we are Chelsea and capable of replacing him like for like quality. the second issue i have with him is that he should not use proxies to demand more from the club. i suspect he could be the source of these rumours. either way i’m not comfortable with these rumours. he should put to pen a new contract. or ask to leave in the summer by which case we are entitled to demand as much as we can.

ModeratorVery wasteful by Chelsea tonight, should have been going to the Emirates with a comfortable lead. VAR seemed very time consuming to me.

ParticipantI was very disappointed in both Hazard and Fabregas. they had little impact on the game. those flicks and tricks that Hazard tries when we have possession in an advances areas is unnecessary. Fabregas should never had started, it should have been Pedro instead. we knew Arsenal will sit deep and counter attack us. what we wanted was somebody who could run behind Arsenal defence. Hazard, Fabregas,Drinkwater our midfield had been very jam. Hazard at a times have taken Fabregas role which forced Fabregas to drift out wide. which made him less impact.

You are not far from the truth there. Tonight Hazard has had an off game. i don’t know this, but Hazard is more suited to 3-4-3 and on the left wing than the central role. playing on the left of a front 3 and given the licence to come inside is the best way to get the best out of him.

ParticipantCM, wasn’t having a pop, just a continuation of an earlier debate where I states that I thought he had too many of those type of games. Perhaps to be rated so highly as he is? But I take your point about his position, you clearly watch him more often than I do.

ParticipantTonight he was a little bit annoying at a times. i think he need to concentrate on doing scoring enough goals. not trying to entertain the crowd with unnecessary flicks and tricks. years ago Cristiano Ronaldo was like that. but Ferguson has pointed him to the right direction. I think Antonio Conte has a point when he said Hazard needs to score enough goals for the team to be considered in the same bracket as CR7 and Messi. another one i suspect is that, ever since these Real-Madrid rumours resurfaced, Hazard has only scored a single goal from the penalty spot, and haven’t created a goal. could these rumours have distracted him? is his heart in London or Madrid? only the man himself knows that. but i expect Chelsea to stand firm, either he has to sign a new contract or we receive a huge fee for him. that Β£120m they are quoting is a peanut for me. any bid less than Β£150m is cheap.plus assensio.

ModeratorHazard is carrying an injury at the moment and he isn’t 100% fit and even when 100% fit he wont be at the top of his game every week no player is.
If Chelsea sell Hazard as they well might in the summer I suspect there will be a few more than just Real prepared to pay the Β£150m plus for him.
