Reports now that Amorim is fuming that Mainoo is still in the club and didn’t manage to get Conor Gallagher. Be serious, Conor fucking Gallagher! Don’t get me wrong, a good honest player, works hard, tries hard but hardly the mobile, athletic midfielder we want if we’re to plug all the gaps left by Bruno in the midfield. @killyboye – I agree Gallagher isn’t “the one” but, seeing how Mainoo has played so far this year, he’d be an upgrade on him! And on loan wouldn’t have caused any issue with regards to our funds for upcoming transfer windows.

I keep saying it, Mainoo is all hype and the sooner they sell n get the profit the better but they will keep until there’s no decent profit to be made .. we needed someone who can cover the grounds in the middle and Gallagher could have done that for us in the short time but why did they wait until the last minute.

Load of pundits are questioning Amorim for not playing him more regularly. Nothing about him being a lazy fucker who’d rather run for the hills than fight for his spot. 200M spent and Its still a open heart surgery. Amorim got no proper wingbacks,midfielders or centerbacks.I would buy Palace´s Munoz as the right wingback and try Leon as the left wingback. Play Amad as the left number 10 while Cunha is out. Shaw needs to be shipped. Maybe our best options at the back are Mazraoui-DeLigt-Yoro? Need to buy a midfielder in January.

It doesn’t matter if Hojlund, Sesko, Lewandowski, Kane or prime fucking Ronaldo were playing up front; if:
– Crosses are terrible and don’t get past the first man (crossing from wing backs is atrocious)
– Wingers are unable to dribble past their man and get a good ball in (Our wingers are constantly outnumbered 2 vs 1 because our wing backs refuse to overlap)
– Our midfielders and wingers don’t play good passes when our forwards make runs off the shoulder of the defender (only Fernandes out of our entire squad has any type of vision)Then how can you expect our forwards to score?
Our issue is not the striker but the build-up play; we NEED to change the 3-4-3 because our players have absolutely no idea how to play it aqnd do the right things to create space, etc.
