Cunha can play any where across the front 4 or 3 .. but his most effective position is attacking midfield.. the most damning aspect about Amorims tactics is the side ways passes amongst the 3cbs and we hold on to the ball too long ignoring direct runs from the attackers…

As for Amorim making unnecessary substitutions even from the 50th minute he is an actual muppet.. you are leading 1-0 to a relegation team with a chance to make it 2-0 and you make 3 successive defensive changes before the 70th minute.. I wouldn’t trust him with more money to sign anyone else

We need to concentrate on getting rid of Mainoo and Zirkzee on permanent deals and see what cash that gives us. The season is over in my opinion with no chance of a CL spot, so no point buying makeshift mediocrity, just muddle through with the dross we’ve got. In the summer Casemiro has to be gone, find a buyer for Ugarte and collect the money for Höjlund and Rashford hopefully.

Jm-agreed completely.And regarding Rodgers,it’s just a wishful thinking on my part,because he is world class and therefore can play for any team he wants to.Anderson and Wharton are obviously much easier to get,and Semenyo will probably join Liverpool,City or Arsenal.

Semenyo is City bound mate and not sure where he or Rogers would play even if we bought them, given we have Cunha and Mbeumo. As I said on another thread, I wouldn’t touch Anderson, overhyped and overpriced. One decent season at Forest doesn’t make him a world beater.

We should have bought Semenyo instead of the bang average Mbuemo. Rogers would be a perfect replacement for Bruno who 100% should go in the summer, but the biggest priority by far is the midfield which has been the case for the best part of the past fucking decade! Then the entire defence needs replacing over the next two years plus we still need a top class keeper, and that’s just to challenge for top 4, fuck me!

Agree blacky. We should have bought Semenyo and Rogers instead of Cunha and Mbeumo. It would be interesting to know who’s name was on the Mbeumo and Cunha signings and how much of a say Amorim had.

Happy, I don’t really watch Brentford but the first thing I noticed when we signed Mbeumo was his lack of pace. I’m not saying he doesn’t score goals and he works hard but Semenyo is a different kind of player. I hope you can see the difference between them.

@Happy Also i remember only you wanted Watkins so bad and Kudus has never done enough to warrant the mention… Cunha ia good in tight places and playmaking and he does work his ass off … Semenyo will go warm the bench at City for sure and make only cameo appearances. And i do believe there’s more to come from Mbeumo if only Amorim utilizes his properly.

Because Mbeumo plays for United, and Semenyo for Bournemouth.Should have never signed him, Cunha, de Ligt, Mazraoui, that little cunt from the rent boys, etc.Fuck sake, we still have geriatrics like Shaw, Harry, and Casemiro playing for us!

I also read the other day that the only two out and out midfielders that we’ve actually signed in the last 7 and a half years are Casemiro who was already way past his best, and Ugarte who had just been bombed out of PSG’s team in less than a year because he was just so utterly fucking shite!
Is it any wonder that we are one of the worst teams out of possession in the entire league, and concede so many fucking goals given that particular fact? And that’s without even analysing the fact that we haven’t got one single defender to rank alongside the greats of the past by a million miles.
