Harry, yes he was and have no problem when he’s focused and aggressive. It’s when he’s not, he’s plays like an absolute ballbag. The team’s organisation out of possession was much better which would’ve helped his confidence.

Watched the game on ny phone on a dodgy stream so missed a lot to make any fair comments. But 442 diamond right? A few of us been calling that for a while, or even a 3412 when building out. With the wing backs we have it should be a good option, and gives Wirtz or the no 10 license to do what they want with a strong midfield base behind him.
I think Slot is forced a little into this with Salah’s situation and Gakpo’s injury (although both can rotate with Isak and Ekitike up top anyway).
But European teams don’t usually play with the aggression and directness of a Premier league team and that has been our Achille’s heel all season, so let’s wait and see what happens in the league the next few weeks.
