Well, not looking too clever as far as the midfield goes for us.

Just as one player returns in Lallana, we have Milner out with no return date.

Emre Can has to be ready for us for the final, because we have no Ox too.

I wonder whether JK would tempt to move Van Dijk into defensive midfield. I still feel though, we should have enough in quality to be able to put out a balanced midfield and the right personnel too.

Benni, Lol! the injuries are really unfortunate though esoecially as there are so many of them in midfield Lalana should play a part now in the CL Final but without matches he’s unlikely to be able to start and according to Klopp Can still remains very doubtful for the CL Final and is still in rehab.

I dunno if this has ever been tried as a 3, but I’d give Lallana, Hendo and Milner a shot; play 2 as the muscle to break up play, and be industrious in protecting the back for and leave Lallana to be the play-maker.

The only slight-snag is that in percentages, these guys need to be thinking to pass the ball forwards to any one of the front 3.

Real are not that quick to me in pressing us, but Ronaldo can do anything out of the blue.

Lalanna is not fit enough nil. He looked sharp today but no way would I steer him in the final mate. He’s nearky injured all season. Can won’t make it and I think he’s played his last game for us

Winjldium was excellent today and is very very underrated.

Does an outstanding job for the team and will start the final if fit

Sean, I get what you mean mate re Lallana, and you’re probably right.

My only snag on Wijn is that I wish he put more aggression into his game. He’d then excel to be a better all round midfielder, but I guess this probably explains maybe one of the reasons why Klopp has swooped for Kieta.
