Alfie you are a clever chap but so far you have accused me of trolling, (that’s your usual default position with anybody who disagrees with you) of being arrogant! And best of all of spoiling the site! So yes just a few personal attacks. And if you check back all I’ve talked about is the football. I hardly watch united games unsurprisingly , but I saw about half of the palace game and most of the liverpool game. But we arnt allowed to comment on the football.

To be fair to the United lads on here it is a bit of a contentious thread and was always likely to create a bit of conflict. Hopefully it’s all been put to bed now.

I think Pogbas injury was timely simply as he has been poor of late and Mouriniho is struggling to find a place in the team for him since Sanchez has arrived. Him not playing certainly helped United yesterday. United were playing 7 across the back for long periods of the 2nd half (bus well and truly parked) it shut liverpool out completely and Young had a great game keeping Salah quiet, I think Southgate should take him to Russia with Rashford. You played with nearly everybody behind the ball until the spitting elbowing thug came on and held up the ball in Liverpool’s half. The long ball worked a treat and the lump dominated Lovren in the first half. Rashford took his goals well. But overall it was a poor game, with 2 shots each and very few chances, others on here thought so too, whereas nine thought it was a great game. Mourinihos tactics were very effective but dull as usual. The football is frankly poor and I think the team has regressed under him as you have become more defensive as this season has gone on. Think I said alot of the beginning of this reply yesterday and Adlab commented on the long ball on this thread. Personally I don’t think you will challenge for the title next season playing like that. You guys clearly think differently, it’s all about opinions isn’t it. Cheers Jim

Apologies for arriving late to the party! I think this thread has probably run its course. I haven’t even had chance to read the last couple of pages but can we all please refrain from any name calling (including accusing others of being trolls), insults, sly digs at other clubs etc. It’s all been a bit distasteful over the last couple of days and goes against what this site was set up for. I’m partial, myself, to a bit of a sly dig at another club but the over the top reactions and name-calling are all a bit silly. It’s 11 men against 11 men kicking a ball around and we’re a bunch of men on the Internet falling out about it!
You’re all good posters so I don’t want to see the site lose any of you. I’ll close the thread now and hope to see service resumed! Thanks all for your understanding
