I’m confident he’ll be back by the Club. I don’t think he’ll be stripped of his Captaincy, but I’m sure there will be conversations behind closed doors.
I don’t think personally there’s anything wrong as a group get-together, but it’s ultimately who you mix with and the company you keep.

From what I read he was arrested for physically and verbally abusing a Police officer not because a fight with someone that allegedly stabbed his sister. I can imagine that could wind you up a little bur I would have thought the normal action would be that after making sure she is OK to call the police and get the perpetrators dealt with. So sorry disagree with those that think his alleged actions were justified because of the stabbing.
Incidentally I’m currently being as dumb as a box of frogs ? (sure it should be mad as…) by going on the piss on the Greek island of Crete. Loads of drunk brit kiddies with no Corona sense whatsoever. The nightclubs are defying the laws by letting everyone on the dance floor. Bar workers high fiving everyone and no one wearing a mask. Crazy. And so much wobbly flesh on show! ?

Also coming out now that they were allegedly plain clothes police who he mistook for the group who attacked his sister. This all shows the dangers of jumping on headlines like “Maguire punches police after after drunken brawl”.
The media now trying to justify their earlier headlines with the “news” that rich footballers spend their money on holiday.

Ed. of course I didn’t think Maguire was capable of drinking all that on his own.?
It’s the huge size of the bar bill that made it unbelievable and imo reflects badly on football as a whole but we know they get paid too much money and it’s not just Maguire many of them are dopey enough to spend it in this way.
He’ll sort it all out I’m sure and come out of all this a much wiser person.

To be fair if you read the article I linked even though it’s the current bun …. it does state this was spent by the entire group that seemed to include another footballer and snooker star as well as some reality “star” chump and that Harry only paid a small percentage of the bill
The items purchased were best of the best and if you have stupid amounts of money why wouldn’t you?
No point being so rich and going “all inclusive” and drinking crap lager and eating from the hotel buffets ??
They also did have a private villa but also wanted to go out eating drinking and dancing
None of which is wrong either to be fair
Tho I think they can afford and should have security for those occasions…..
What was spent and bought was an eye opener as someone that will never not have to worry about money like most people!!
