It doesn’t need to take more than 6months for a surgeon to realize a professional athlete needs surgery for any particular injury. Spurs are currently going through the same issues with their own medical team.
The whole club needed a major overhaul from a crooked scouting department to the incompetent medical team down to the massively overpaid players but RatShit came with his INEOS Group and gave the Glazers a lifeline when they needed to be fucked off.

@happy, I was saying nothing of the sort, only that the back is a notoriously tricky part of the anatomy. maverick, personally, I call it as I see it. or I try to to the best of my ability. I like the game of football played beautifully so if city are doing it I’ll tip my cap, same with liverpool, arsenal before arteta fucked that up, PSG now, barca. That doesn’t mean I support them. You obviously don’t understand humour or don’t want to, which is fine. On football matters I’ll listen to arguments and if they convince me they convince me, I’m open minded, but if they don’t they don’t. for example. Carrick will never be a good player in my eyes no matter what stats or trophy hauls, or player interviews anyone digs up. I know what I saw week in week out. one of the first stat merchants in the league. regarding mainoo, everyone and I mean everyone who’s a united fan, and that would be me, was over the moon when mainoo lit it up at Old Trafford. but when he stunk it out I and almost everyone on here called it out. I said at the time, and I believe I was the first to say it, that he had put on an immense amount of muscle and the boy couldn’t move anymore. now in recent weeks I’ve seen a bit more movement, and if continues on that trajectory and becomes what we all hoped we believed he could then united fans will be overjoyed. which I take it is you, correct?

Although I disagree with your assessment of Carrick as a player, I can respect your opinion.
Not only do I agree with your assessment of players being micromanaged. Another aspect is you can see how robotic players are nowadays, it’s like they’re not capable of making in game decisions such as when to batten down the hatches for 5-10 mins when the opposition is getting on top or still playing out from the keeper when it isn’t on. Simply because that’s what they’ve been doing in training._____________________________

Problem is: I’m 95% sure this was honeymoon period and the team will revert to type next year; didn’t see anything this year that suggests that Carrick has improved the team; he just gave them morale were Amorim had them at rock bottom.
