Replace him with Amad is the easiest and costs nothing. But who is going to cross to Sesko from the wings with unorthodox wingers? Talk about square pegs in round holes, the front 3 costed a fortune.

10th January 2026 at 12:51 pm #236347We really need to try and sign the likes of Mane and Wharton now, before they become Β£100m players and wanted by top clubs.Look @ Anderson and Sarmiento.

10th January 2026 at 1:34 pm #236354Would a long boycott work? Fans don’t go, nor do they buy merchandise.

10th January 2026 at 3:48 pm #236369MUFC, in a word NO! It wouldnβt work especially nowadays. Iβve got a mate whoβs a season ticket holder at City and he says the amount of tourist fans has risen dramatically over the last five years. So if itβs like that a City and probably Liverpool, imagine what itβs like at OT.
Clubs want the tourist fans as theyβll spend money on merchandise etc.
In all honesty I do worry what the long term effects will be. People wonβt be able to afford to take their kids or get them season tickets if they have to pay full price. Unfortunately it seems like the clubs donβt care so long as the weekend/day trippers rock up_____________________________

11th January 2026 at 9:31 am #236388Great, now we’ll get to see how they squeeze Mbeumo, Amad, Cunha, Bruno and Sesko into 4 positions.

11th January 2026 at 9:39 am #236389Yep, and that is why those clueless goons should never have bought BOTH Mbuemo and Cunha, especially at the expense of completely ignoring the midfield. Honestly, my 9 year old grandson would do a better job than Berrada and Wilcox.

11th January 2026 at 3:36 pm #236404At the time of signing Mbeumo i kept reiterating we have got Amad no need to sign him β¦ on current form Cunha takes the bench but that might not happen; whoever takes charge better not do the same stupid shit of playing Bruno in a CM position as opposed to No.10
Sesko – Striker
Mebumo – Left
Amad – right
Bruno – Attacking midfield
Cunha – bench (to be introduced when either of the above donβt deliver)-

11th January 2026 at 6:29 pm #236454@happy you will have to because Cunha isnβt delivering anything from that position.. the only other option there is Dorgu.

12th January 2026 at 8:36 am #236491If it is true about Fergie and Gill, didn’t Matt Busby hang about for years after retirement?

12th January 2026 at 9:09 am #236496MEN are now reporting that Carrick will be appointed today, which just about sums up Ineos’s time at the club, because this is now the second consecutive season that lies in ruins thanks to Ratshit’s total inability to get anything right.
He should have sacked Ten Hag but let the cup win cloud his judgement, then he let him waste another 250 mill before sacking him anyway. Amorim should never have been appointed in a million years, and it was completely obvious that it wasn’t going to work from very early on, but even after a 15th place finish they still wouldn’t admit that they’d fucked up yet again by sacking him in the summer, so here we are again now just wishing that the season was already over, fucking wankers._____________________________

12th January 2026 at 9:28 am #236498Yep, appointing Carrick over Ole just shows how completely fucking stupid they are when it comes to the actual football stuff. They may as well keep Fletcher in charge if they’re going with Carrick. Fucking ridiculous!

12th January 2026 at 9:28 am #236499What the fuck is it with ex players? Fergie, Gill and the class of 92 and those after need to be told to stay the fuck away.

12th January 2026 at 9:45 am #236502One of the main issues from yesterday’s game was the total lack of width in the attacking areas: Mount and Cunha both prefer to play more centrally and we really need to start stretching the game as we are extremely predictable and easy to defend against. Cunha needs to simply stay wider more constantly.
Not even sure what team to put out these days to be honest, especially given that our two best attacking moptions both play right wing.
Lammens
Dorgu – Yoro/De Ligt – Martinez – Shaw
Casemiro – Fernandes/Mount (depending on opponents)
Mbuemo – Amad – Cunha
SeskoI guess that is the best we can do? Still, minimal balance in the team overall

12th January 2026 at 9:56 am #236503I’d rate Carrick as better than Ole any day of the week. I heard that Morgan Rogers speaks very, very highly of him from his time at ‘Boro, said he made him a much better player and really knew how to connect with players. Rogers said he’s still in regular contact with him regardless of the fact that he doesn’t coach him any more.
When looking at Carrick’s time at ‘Boro you have to consider two things, they were a selling club and he regularly lost his best players and he was also cursed with injuries throughout his time as a manager and rarely had a full squad to work with.
I’m not advocating that he become the next permanent manager but I’ve certainly no qualms with him being given the reins temporarily._____________________________
