Yep, interesting article MUFC. I know it will upset a lot of people but there is a lot of sense in what he says. Hopefully he is more flexible in the formation now.

I’ve said all along that Amorim was making things all about him instead of adapting his team and his tactics to suit what he had to work with, and this interview today 100% confirms it. I find it quite staggering that he thought it was far more important not to appear ‘weak’ by making changes just because fans, the press and TV pundits were saying that he should.
Well I’ll tell him what weakens a manager the most, and that’s his team performing horribly, losing games week after week, and finishing 15th in the fucking league table, it also gets you the sack more often than not, as it most certainly should have done here.
There is no way on earth that he would have survived such a disastrous time at any other so called big club, and the only reason that he did so this time is because Ratshit also thinks that his own ego is far more important than doing the right thing for the football club, simple as that._____________________________

You can disagree with the Chelsea board but before Maresca was signed they did outline their objectives to him and explained to him that he will be a coach not so much a manager and he accepted.. they clearly have a defined way they want the club to be handled and if a coach refuses to fit into that then out the door he goes ….

Whether you agree with Chelsea’s manager methods or not, they won the CL in 2021 and are World Club Cup Champions right now. I’d take that over what our club has achieved. It is clear as day that Amorim will not lead this club to trophies and, by association, success and, if that is the case, then he should not be our manager.

Yeah sounds like Wilcox has put his foot down regarding transfers which is long overdue. Amorim had a face on him like a slapped arse in the pre match presser. Trying to do a Mourinho when answering a question from Jamie Jackson. If they’ve said they wont be buying specific players to suit a 343 then it’s long overdue. I’m sure if he had moved the club forward and improved players like expected from any new manager then they would back him. All his talk about suffering and things getting better is just a load of shite mate. Nothing has changed in the year plus he has been there. At any other top club he would have been sacked already. In fairness, the shite he came out with about the system was laughable. And if he only knows how to play one system then that’s an even bigger inditement on his ability to manage Manchester United.
