@Happy whoever wrote that Article needs to be binned :: donโt they all really watch us play.. donโt they all see wats happening on the pitch .. or they just rely on statistics
Hereโs a stat for you โฆ we are absolutely rubbish in all aspects.. Attack, midfield, Defence, GK
Ineos know sacking him would be they fucked up again after the Ten Haag Fiasco and they are praying for a miracle when we play Sunderland this weekend which in all possibility we might get lucky like we did against Chelsea

2nd October 2025 at 6:20 pm #227789Killy – But is it the kind of improvement that shows some of Amorim’s methods and tactics are actually working? Ten Haag’s team weren’t creating chances and then Amorim took over and they still didn’t create any chances. Now all of a sudden this season we’re creating much more and better chances. That’s not my words that’s the guy writing for the Athletic.
I dunno. If they’ve put all their eggs into this 3-4-3 basket (which they clearly have), with some kind of defined understanding of how its supposed to work. They must have believed that this system creates chances and reduces goals conceded. If they’ve really bought into this system i think they’ll be giving it every possible chance to work. As they’ve consistently said they will not make “kneejerk decisions on individual bad results”.Blacky – Do you really think they should just rip it all up now, in the first week of October? After the huge investment this summer and the clear direction they want Amorim to take the team in? Glasner is proving at Palace that this system does actually work. As Merson said the other day its mainly because United don’t have the personnel for the system. And they’ve stated all along that it will take 2 or 3 windows for Amorim to have the right players in the right positions.
I’m not immune to the results but i’d happily accept short term pain for long term gain. Like a certain Arsenal football club._____________________________

2nd October 2025 at 6:29 pm #227790@happy – He’s the worst manager in my entire football watching lifetime, of that I am entirely convinced now. I used to think that Frank O’Farrell would never be ‘topped’ but this guy has done it with ease in less than a year, he will get us relegated if Ineos don’t wake the fuck up.

2nd October 2025 at 6:58 pm #227792As for Ineos having a “clear direction”, that’s just fucking hilarious!๐๐ Is this the same clear direction that had them dithering for weeks before finally giving Ten Hag a new contract and 200 mill plus to waste on yet more absolute shite, only to then sack him just 3 months later? Or is it the same clear direction that had them waiting for months and waste 5 mill to appoint Dan Ashworth as Sporting Director only for them to discover just a few months later that he wasn’t what they wanted after all, so he got fucked off sharpish!
Then we’ve got the clear direction over the new pathetic looking circus tent stadium, which is now in the process of being completely scrapped and redesigned, not that it will ever happen under these cunts anyway!
Time for you to take your head out of your arse for once and realise that Ratshit and his Ineos fuckwits are just fumbling along in the vain hope that things will improve, and them having a clear direction about anything is several million miles away, simple as that._____________________________

2nd October 2025 at 7:06 pm #227793Happy, there is one big difference – Glasner has said he’d prefer to play 442 but hasn’t got the players to play it. That’s what a good manager does – adapts
Compare to Amorim who insists on playing 343 despite not having the players to play it

2nd October 2025 at 8:03 pm #227795@happy – This is what you had to say immediately after the Brentford match, get a fucking grip laddie ffs!๐๐๐
“Anyone would be better JM. Worst manager in our history in every single metric isnโt he? Iโm all for giving a manager time but surely this canโt continue now. Almost a carbon copy of the Ten Haag situation where they spent ยฃ250m on players for him and then sacked him 2 months later. Outrageous but needs must now!
I said after the Europa League final that if Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire are starting games together next season then no one at the club has learnt anything.
Seems to be a half decent 4-2-3-1 team in there somewhere but this 3 at the back shite and they still ship 3 goals to Brentford is fucking embarrassing. According to the commentary our positioning was all over the place for the goals so even at this stage they donโt know where theyโre supposed to be in a back 3.
Glasner, Iraola, Silva, fucking anyone would get better results out of that team. And it might be time to move on from Bruno now too. We need to usher in a new era at the club!”

2nd October 2025 at 8:11 pm #227796If we sack him and can’t get a permanent replacement, Sean Dyche as interim manager for me. He will help us avoid relegation.

2nd October 2025 at 9:54 pm #227800We are the club with players who have the softest mentality and pussy ass players in the whole world not just the league .. we have a captain who when he plays shite you cannot trust him to tuck away a simple penalty and players who decide when to turn up to actually play or just coast through a game .. So yeah Roy Keane would be a good shout as he doesnโt condone matured men acting like pussies and i am surprised he hasnโt been invited to give a telling off to some of them in-person.

2nd October 2025 at 11:01 pm #227802Blacky – Yeah I was angry after that game!! ๐๐คฆโโ๏ธ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
INEOS werenโt in the building long before they made the Ashworth and Ten Haag mistakes. The thing is everyone wants them to turn it around apart from you! Same with Amorim, Iโd love him to turn it around but you donโt want him to! So youโll just be happy to see another manager sacked without even entertaining the notion that this is why weโre in this fucking mess in the first place!!
So weโll get Iraola in and after his first bad spell youโll be the first one on here saying heโs the worst manager youโve ever seen and to get rid of the cunt!
Bit short sighted isnโt it??_____________________________

3rd October 2025 at 7:17 am #227803@happy – Oh do fuck off you spanner, you’ve got more flip-flops in your posting history than the caretaker of a Mosque has to deal with on a daily basis! It’s got fuck all to do with what anyone wants, it’s all about the likelihood of anything good happening based on what we have seen from Ratshit and Amorim since they rocked up, and that is absolutely fucking nil.
I said from day one that appointing Amorim was going to end in tears, I also warned that if we didn’t address the goalkeeping and midfield areas in the summer we would quickly regret it once the season started whereas you at one point described our transfer dealings as “perfect”.
Fact is, you continually defend the indefensible and have your head stuck so far up your fucking arse you can see your own tonsils, and that’s always been the case even though you inevitably get proven wrong time after time after time.
Oh and by the way, the reason “we are in this mess in the first place” is because we have fuckwit owners who keep on making terrible appointments who then waste hundreds of millions of pounds buying absolutely useless footballers, and appointing Amorim as manager is just another example of their abject cluelessness, simple as that._____________________________

3rd October 2025 at 7:33 am #227805Is it true that Wilcox never wanted the manager due to his system? But the guy we got from City over ruled him?

Yes, the footballing person got overruled by the non footballing person.

3rd October 2025 at 8:39 am #227807If that is true, more evidence that the fuckers at the top are the main issue, they obviously can’t work in harmony, at least Wilcox was right.

3rd October 2025 at 8:53 am #227809Yes @MuFc thatโs exactly what happened.. because thereโs a reason Liverpool, Chelsea nd Barca all turned him down.. his lack of tactical flexibility yet we somehow overlooked that critical aspect and hired him while agreeing to a clause that he cannot be fired within the first year without a big payout

3rd October 2025 at 9:12 am #227811If Merson is right that it’s wrong players for the system, then it’s madness to play the 3-4-3 system, if the players can’t adapt – which they clearly can’t. If it’s the system, it’s madness to play the system. Maybe I’m over simplifying it here, but they seem pretty straightforward decisions to me. Play a system the players know and understand, at least until all the high priority 3-4-3 positions are filled with position experts. And we’re clearly a long way from that. Tend to agree with @Black67 here, if it continues, and INEO continue with him, we’ll be looking at a relegation fight – one which is avoidable with some common sense.
