@happy – GTF with your bollocks stats and try reading the room for once in your life. These are the only stats that really matter, 31 points from 31 PL matches, only 1 goal from open play in over 6 hours of football this season (that was vs mighty Burnley and despite spending over 200 mill on new forwards), 7 PL goals shipped at the other end in just 4 matches, our worst ever PL finish last season and bang on track for something even worse this year if this clown stays much longer.
That’s got fuck all to do with luck, it’s just unbelievably bad management and gross incompetence from both him and Ratshit’s clueless goons, simple as that._____________________________

19th September 2025 at 4:46 pm #226988Reporter: Ruben, what did you and Sir Jim Ratcliffe talk about?
Amorim: He wanted to offer me a new contract!! π
Gotta give it to him – at least he has a sense of humour!

19th September 2025 at 10:52 pm #226996So I reckon you don’t want him for 2 more years then Blacky? π€£π€£π€£
Amorim has done one good thing and it was to get rid of toxic players. It’s a good start for next manager whenever that will be. Don’t know if he will get it right in 2 more windows because he needs a whole new midfield, wingbacks and better centerbacks._____________________________

20th September 2025 at 8:09 am #226999@Zico – I wouldn’t give this deluded, arrogant, clueless prick another 2 days mate, never mind 2 years. His presser yesterday provided yet more embarrassing evidence that he is just so up himself that he doesn’t actually give a flying fuck about the club, the fans or anything else other than his own ridiculously over inflated ego. He actually said that no matter what happens he will not change his ideas, not even for the Pope. He’s just an absolute fucking nutjob.

20th September 2025 at 11:20 am #227005You can tell he is fucked off with the media and deals with it in a very strange manner. Managers like Mourinho or Fergie would be digging them out and getting in to it with them but he starts smiling and laughing and making some fucking daft comments like that one about the pope. At the beginning i thought he had a bit of charisma but now he just sounds daft and stubborn as fuck. I reckon Ineos don’t want to bin him but they’ll have no choice if the 1 point per game bollix continues

20th September 2025 at 11:50 am #227009@happy – You wouldn’t be saying that if you were spunking the majority of your disposable income and annual leave on following the team whilst the coach is making stupid ‘jokes’ like that. it clearly demonstrates just how out of touch he is.
My grandson has been to about 5 games since Amorim took over and all he has seen is a series of abject defeats with barely a goal scored to even give him something to cheer about, yet this smug cunt thinks it’s funny._____________________________

20th September 2025 at 12:26 pm #227016I really hope Atletico do come in for Ugarte and Real for Mainoo in January, then bin Case, Arry, and Shaw, too. Cancel their fucking contracts if necessary. And make sure nobody gets a new one, but also try and get rid of the always injured players like Martinez and Mount. And, WTF is going on with Yoro? Any decent offer for de Ligt, Dalot, Mazraoui, Zirkzee and Bruno should also be accepted. We are a fucking laughing stock!

Dont get me wrong, I am all for signing the best youth prospects, just don’t assume most of them will ever make it into out senior team

2nd October 2025 at 3:56 pm #227781Weird thing is if he beats Sunderland i think that’s about par for the course vs expectations for this season. They’ll obviously expect the team to gel a bit more over the course of the year but after a difficult start i’d say they’ll feel its just about acceptable. If he beats Sunderland then its 10 points from 7 games.
The other thing is this is what they said in the Athletic today;
“United’s main concern last season was Amorim’s team had an inability to create chances. They averaged 1.3xg per game in 27 league outings, scoring 32 times. So far this season United have averaged 2.1xg per game. They are creating better quality chances. Bruno and United being where they are seems to be due to a lack of conviction in the final third, missed penalties and luck – with United hitting the woodwork 4 times so far this season, which is more than any other team”.
If we were being schooled by teams, overrun and outfought etc then fair enough but i wonder if Ineos are hanging onto the fact that the team itself is playing much better this season? I’m not sure and i’m not convinced either way. But we had more shots, more xg and more possession against Brentford. Problem is we still don’t score enough and with Bayindir in goal (statistically the 17th best keeper in the league!) we just concede out of nowhere.

2nd October 2025 at 5:15 pm #227782But that’s the key isn’t happy? We may be creating more chances but we’re not scoring more, it may not be worse that last season but it’s not better either. And even though we may have conceded less, we’re still likely to concede poor goals at random moments. Statistically things may look like they’ve improved but fundamentally they haven’t really improved at all. And from a visual perspective, our defence is still too slow to play a high line, our midfield is still getting overrun at will and our forwards don’t look like they could hit a barn door with a banjo.

2nd October 2025 at 5:59 pm #227787Give it a fucking rest with this xg complete and utter bollocks ffs, there are only two stats that count and those are how many goals you concede and how many you put in the onion bag at the other end, and the absolute facts of the matter are that we still have a negative goal difference under Amorim this season, just like we have had ever since the flakey fucker got the job!
If Ineos are feeling that what has gone on under Amorim is in any way shape or form “acceptable” then the lunatics really have taken over our particular asylum, simple as that._____________________________
