Nah I think City will be fine Lucky. People were saying the same things last season right before City went on that record breaking run. I’m not convinced Grealish was the player they needed, as much as I like him as a player. Why they didn’t instead invest that in a striker is an odd one.

Ed, Chelsea and pool won’t let them get away with it this season, I don’t think so anyway. They will need more points than last season to win it.

Man City & Pep. At the start of the season, although there is a lot of quality there, I did express concerns with the harmony in the team. I think there were several in there who were looking to move on, but never did, and that’s not really a good thing. When they get into their groove and flow, they can look very good. But like Lucky, I do wonder if there is something not quite right there.

Could be Pep’s last season and it could also be Klopp’s TBH. More likely Pep though I think.
As for that peno, ya I don’t think the player is so much going down but the shot he was about to take, is now impossible, as Walker has put his own leg way over. That’s a stonewall penalty and red card.
It’s tough see your team lose points Adlab but this idea that the system is against you is total bonkers. You kinda “stole” a point there. (I say stole, only in the sense that maybe it was undeserved, not that City have done anything wrong.)

I also thought it was a penalty when I first saw it but after seeing a few replays not so sure but Saints deserved the draw. The top teams may be winning but none of them are really playing well.

I guess we are entering a new phase of something amiss ay City. Two events have happened
1. Peps statement was maybe misplaced but more misunderstood
2. A draw for us to day was all we deserved. We did not perform to day as well as we could but that happens.I do not know how conclusions can be made, City made a worse start last season but we did not do badly.
Yes, some players want to leave and some have been told they can go…so…what’s new? What is different to any other club?
For me , it is over hyped and just an effort to drag a non story on.
Striker? I think we need another commanding midfielder first. KDB needs to be managed now, Gungdoghan is getting tired and Fernandinho is 34/6? Scoring goals , apart from to day and the first game will not be a problem
I see a need for one after we have addressed other positionsOur attendance down again to day. 53/4K…I am now in despair !!!!!!
I expect 10K on Tuesday if the weather is fine!!!!We need to lighten up on these issues when we do not know the full story or facts

Mak…they will probably both go, much depends on how well/or not the seasons for both teams but I am sure there is a finality in there thinking.
I think both will take a break, we have a over critical TV jury and media hounding there every move. Both are excellent managers, best we have in the EPL and when they go we will miss them because they have brought new life to the EPL. Mistakes, of course they have made mistakes but my guess is the very people who raise negative comments make a lot more in there professions….so where is the perfect manager…..they are careful not to name one because they do not exist_____________________________

Ed, like you, I did not think we needed Grealish but I am OK now we have him. If it was a choice between Grealish and Kane. I would have definitely picked Grealish…he fits our style of play more. I still think we need a quality back up for KDB and Fernandinho. Foden will replace Gungdogan in due course

One of the worse decisions I’ve seen against the rules of the game. A stonewall Penalty and I would have expressed the same if it happened to Liverpool.
Why didn’t VAR give their Verdict back to the Referee to attend the monitor (I’m not aware of this by the way if this had already taken place).
It’s just out of touch and uncharacteristic.

Ya, we’ve all seen enough season’s to know that our opinions may shift dramatically when 1 team goes on a winning or losing run etc.
With the information we have, City look to have some issues, Liverpool didnt exactly blow Palace away either but we did enough this time. Besides today, Im really pleased with Liverpool though. The result however, is fantastic.
