Mak, this is a very tough game. Very slow start but we grew into it. Thisgo has been excellent but gave away two silly free kicks

By the sounds of it, it was your own player.
Not a great performance from Liverpool either but the result went our way. MOTM for Alison or Salah I think, with Hendo an honourable mention. We missed Robbo, Trent and Firmino today. Jota was poor again, I think tsimikas is an alright enough player, if not a little rash. Konate scared me a little if Im honest but he’s new here and in fairness, he did get a touch on that last counter-attack that it looked like he’d lost.
We’d have conceded without Alisson and not scored without Salah though.

3-0 flattered us bigtine me. Palace were excellent but we took our chances. Two excellent finishes from salah and keita.
Tsimikas dod very well. We lost the midfield when Thiago went off. Hopefully he’s ok as he was very good again today

Ya, didnt mean to sound negative on Tsimikas, he’s actually proper cover but not having Robbo and Trent there today was a big problem for us. If it were a case of us maybe having Trent and Tsimkas, we’d have been in a lot better position.
I didnt see keita’s goal, my stream died and didnt come back for the replay. of course it was fine then immediately after. I will catch it later.
Honestly, i think it was kinda incredible that we managed to keep a clean sheet. A lot of luck involved but also thanks to Allison too.

Adlab, how are you saying VAR went against you today? I just saw the VAR over-ruling of that penalty and red card. I tell you what, I think that was a penalty.
