Rob every time we experiment with Salah out Slot chooses the wrong front line, I can´t fault a single player anymore, not even Gakpo! It´s not his fault that he has become a pedestrian that just watches the game from the best view on the pitch.
The area he drifts into is the same of what Salah has usually been doing on the opposite flank to great effect, somehow those roles are reversed this season.
I know Salah needs to turn into a provider at one stage in his career but that is not now, we should not be wasting him out wide hugging the line like he does every game now.
He has had the least touches of his career inside the box this season! Why would you play him if you don´t want him to score a goal, that is what he thrives on, attacking the box. It is what he has done since he arrived here until this season!
The mind-blowing stupidity of our tactics hurt my head!

11th March 2026 at 11:27 pm #241300Right now if you take the few games Rio has played, the few minutes he has played and compare his stats to someone else on average over 38 games.
He blows almost every player out of the water, sky, where ever. He would have the most dribbles made, he would have the most chances made, he would have gotten the most fouls, won the most duals, created the most chances as well.
There is no excuse left not to start him, at his last start he won man of the match, did not get a single minute in the next game.
It´s not because he is not ready, it´s because Slot is holding him back! Like Slot is holding every player back right now and sean or who ever said there is nobody to take over you are wrong. I would take Gerrard right now until the end of the season!
He has never criticized a manager until Slot and he is right to criticize him, Slot is a egomaniacal idiot and needs to go!
The fucking bastard put down the club to enhance his own reputation, I´ve wanted him sacked since then!

Rubbish of the highest order, it makes me laugh whenever I see delusional Liverpool fans, online and offline, call for Gerrard to manage Liverpool, yet he could not even survive in the PL for one full season with Villa.
It will NEVER happen.

12th March 2026 at 12:24 pm #241324I don´t wanna call Isak injury prone yet, the number of games he has played in recent seasons is too much to suggest he is highly injury prone
59 games missed injured in 4 seasons in the PL, as of today, looks injury-prone to me. Source, transfermarkt

12th March 2026 at 1:28 pm #241326Asian, I wouldn’t say a 1-0 win and one third possession is a trouncing. We played well that night but if we’d played Madrid or Bayern this week (with how we played v Gala) they’d have mopped up.

12th March 2026 at 2:19 pm #241328I would call you guys deluded for wanting to stick with this shit, there are no signs of improvement from the team, every call Slot makes is the wrong one and you wanna stick by him until the end of the season.
Dead man walking, that is delusional!

12th March 2026 at 3:02 pm #241330“59 games missed injured in 4 seasons in the PL, as of today, looks injury-prone to me”
1) A broken leg doesn’t make someone injury prone.
2) A player could miss 59 games across 4 seasons with 2 serious injuries or they could miss 59 games across 4 seasons with 14 muscle/ligament injuries.
Two very different scenarios.3) Depending on what club a player plays for could paint the wrong picture if only counting “games missed”. Eg a player for Liverpool out for 3mths could miss a significant amount more games with the exact same injury/time out as someone who plays for Burnley, as Liverpool play European football and tend to go further in the cups.
5) The month the injury takes place can have an affect when only counting “games missed” as a qualifier. Eg a player out for 6 weeks during the depths of the season when games come thick and fast will post different numbers of “games missed” than a player also out for 6 weeks but that comes during the summer months, or international break, or quieter part of the season e.g- Salah was out for several months when he had his shoulder dislocated in the CL final but that doesn’t register much on “games missed”
6) Players get injured. It happens. Regularly.

12th March 2026 at 3:03 pm #241331Sean, forget whose saying it… is it just common sense to finish the season off with slot and then reflect on whats happened and take the appropriate action needed for the best interests of the club? If slot wins the champions league im sure a lot of you will say give the man another year? None of the clubs who have sacked managers this year have seen a major season defining change… the closest you have is carrick and the dross on display in the past 4 games have had the likes of scholes complaining about it.
If slot doesnt make top 4 and wins fuckall and the club part ways with slot… i would have to accept that as that should have been the minimum. Whoever we hire my philosophy has always been to get behind the manager, players and the team… the football has not been great, no doubt, but as ive mentioned before we are halfway through a new project and vision… if we reinvest heavily in the summer add the required pieces we would then see the “Slot Machine” in action and judge it for what it is.

12th March 2026 at 3:17 pm #241332@ginger great breakdown and analogy on how injury is looked at.
However, its no consolation to liverpool. Our biggest season defining signing has done fuckall since he signed, hes either been unfit, injured or out for most of the season thus far. We live in the hope he comes back and takes us to glory come seasons end… but atm hes up there as “Flop of the Season”.

12th March 2026 at 8:12 pm #241337asian you can´t be deluded enough to think we have any chance of winning the Champions League, we have faced Galatasaray twice this season and lost to them on both accounts because of bad managerial decisions, bad first eleven, bad subs.
We will be lucky to get past them and if we do it will be because of set pieces, then we face Atletico Madrid who will demolish us with their pressing, if by a miracle we get past them which we never will as we are playing into their tactics right now.
We get in form Real Madrid next or in form Bayern Munich who will destroy us!
After that the one remaining competitive fixture we have is against City who are very likely to beat us in the FA-cup.
We will end this season trophyless and possible in the UEFA league as I seriously doubt we are gonna improve our form this season, we are projected to get 63 points this season. Which in a normal season would see us finish the season anywhere between 6-8th place.

12th March 2026 at 8:50 pm #241341We arent on the same side of the draw as Atletico Bingo, we get PSG or Chelsea next. So PSG. Then most likely either Madrid or Bayern in the Semi as you said.
So yeah, not winning this year.

12th March 2026 at 11:30 pm #241344Asian i prefer to be pragmatic, we are in such dire form that it would not surprise me to see Spurs getting 3 points against us and then a 1-1 draw at home against Galatasaray.
Slot never makes the right decisions, I have not seen a right decision from him for over a year now.
Instead of focusing on what works Slot has the delusion that he can win with a team of his own and he thinks he has a free pass because he won the league the 2nd time in 30 years.
He puts down the club to enhance his reputation, I cant forgive that. I dont think anyone should forgive that.
He thinks implementing his own style is more important than winning trophies 🏆 and every senior figure at the club has figured that out.
His tactics are a cancer! He has had two of our 3 of our biggest ever signings for months now and he still does not know how to play them.
Every u21 player has left the club with a couple of exceptions, players that were ready to start competing for game time. He is a yes man and nothing else that has delusion of grandeur.
I would take Gerrard in a heartbeat as I know he would go back to what works instead of trying to implement his own style, he would serve his time until Nagelsmann would come in as Alonso is beneath us at this moment in time.

12th March 2026 at 11:36 pm #241346When Klopp resigned and we were all left with wondering who would take over nobody has it right with Slot coming in but I was adamant that we needed a man manager that would not rock the status quo for 2-3 years.
Not some wannabe tactician with a point to prove at the expense of the club like we are dealing with right now.
Then as soon as he wins the league without rocking the boat he completely fails in every month because he needs to prove it was him and not Klopp who built the squad.
He is cancer!

12th March 2026 at 11:42 pm #241347Think about the past tenure with Klopp, didn’t ever put down the club to enhance his reputation?
Didn’t ever use the club to enhance his own reputation!
There is such a big difference from saying we won the league twice in 30 years and 5 years, or from stating the the yes man knows that we have become accustomed to winning trophies almost every season in one way or another.
In that one interview he put down everything Klopp did for us while destroying his legacy!
I dont care who comes in, I want Slot sacked yesterday and that will remain my opinion until he is gone as he is useless garbage that used the club to enhance his own reputation. While putting the club down.

13th March 2026 at 4:41 am #241348Btw i’d like to take this opportunity to apologise to everyone about me whinging, moaning or even suggesting signing semenyo. The guy looks like another kerkez but in a more attacking role… slow, sluggish, disinterested and not taking responsibility.
Yeah i know hes scored goals and got assists… but thats not what we need at liverpool to replace salah or diaz… and the nerve of some complaining about salah, who tbf hasnt set the world alight but is still miles ahead of this guy.
