he is the least effective forward we have had since he came to Anfield, there are only players such as Elliot who perform worse but I can give them the benefit of the doubt as they are not entering into their prime!

The reason I am so upset with this result, lineup, decision making etc. is because we can not afford it in the the tie.
We play like this for 25 minutes against Atletico Madrid and we are out of the competition! We put the same lineup against them we are out, we try the same subs as we have been trying for the past two months we are out!
Then we got nothing to play for except one FA-Cup which I suspect we would lose on current form and current decision making!
The only way we make the Champions League this season would be because of the co-efficient, the league is very likely to have 5 teams, maybe even 6 teams next season.

all of Slot´s decision making can be explained by this reasoning…
First half of the season he did not dare to rock the boat, as soon as he won the league without rocking the boat, he has fucked up on every occasion.
Because he needs to prove how smart he is, he needs to rock the boat, he needs to make his mark on the squad.
He can´t figure out what worked last season and what does not work, he is a fucking idiot!

I wouldnt sell gakpo… maybe get another attacker who can play left and right + if salah leaves another right winger. Sell cheisa and get joshua abe fast tracked to the first team… nil mentioned morrison, is he ready to step up? Plus we have jaydan danns to comeback too!

he was still ineffective, you loved him over Diaz somehow. He is the most one dimensional player I´ve seen start for us in a long time. He only scored goals because of others, he never made his own chances, except that one move of his where he cuts inside and shoots.
It is the only thing he has about him, that one trick, cut inside and shoot. There is nothing else to his game! He does not pass, he does not create, he does not press, he does not score, he does not assist. He has one leg and lacks bravery!
He is more similar to David Ngog than any other forward we have had.

we should not be considering Frimpong for the right winger role, he should be used as a fullback only! It is yet another bad decision by Slot! I bet we could make a list of 100 bad decisions right now, just for the last few months.
Then why buy a player for 150 million, another for 120 million and another for 90 million when you don´t know how to play them!

I fully expect us to beat Gala next week, but to win the competition, we have to beat PSG, and then Bayern/madrid, just to make the final. All 3 teams looking great.
Safe to say we’re not winning it with our current form. Fearing a hammering from one of those sides, if we progress.
If top 5 makes the champions league for next season, then that has to be the priority and then a reset of sorts in the summer.

You talking anout athletico rob? Cus im sure we absolutely trounced madrid earlier in the champions league.
And for fucksake stop all your whinging.. save it for next week IF we get knocked out. At the moment the only premier league team better off than us is arsenal… and did you see the performance they put on today?
