Agree with N1xer re. this being the kind of game where we usually slip… as sods law would have it, after Forst were TERRIBLE at the start of the season, they’ve changed manager just about in time for us to come round (though they did lose on the weekend).
I’d go with a ver similar team to againt Brighton, just replacing Dalot coz he’s just not good enough.

Seeing as the LWB position doesn’t offer much in terms of overlapping and crosses i do agree with that line up … Dalot is a liability both in Attacking and Defending.. also Dyche is the new Manager of Forest so we gotta expect a lot of Route one balls

Shaw will be part of the back 3 after his display against Brighton for sure. If you want to replace Dalot at left wingback then it has to be Dorgu unfortunately. The choice is yours!!!

Not sure Shaw has the legs to play LWB anymore, and think he will stay in the left CB position, slotting in to midfield where necessary.
Agree Dalot is awful and needs replacing, not sure Dorgu will be an improvement though, but he needs a proper chance before Jan otherwise we’ll bring someone else in hopefully.

Did Shaw play well against Brighton? Must have missed it. My only Lardy memories are of him jogging, stopping, then passing backwards or, in his more creative moments, sideways 😂😂

It’s another option killy but I can’t say I’ve ever been a fan. His bark’s worse than his bite. What I would say is, he’d certainly be an option in midfield, I’ve said that all along.

I think this team has always had its best games when Martinez has been fit and in form at the back. He brings a real aggression to the team and makes everyone else play more aggressively around him. Always takes him ages to get back to form and fitness though. Plus this is what his 3rd big injury so i have my doubts he’ll be back to previous levels.

Martinez is just a fucking crock, he already was when we bought him as his appearance stats at Ajax clearly prove, he averaged just 20 league starts per season over 3 years for them. Since he signed for us he has missed over 70 PL games and has started only 52 times.
Get him fit and then fuck him off before his contract runs out in 2027._____________________________
